Best bike shop in Phoenix! 10/11/2010

The guys over here are great. I have had the best service here. The level of knowledge about the bikes is excellent. They know the product and they didn't try to sell me something that I didn't need. They found out what I was looking for and they even talked me OUT of getting something that I didn't need (that would've cost me more money). And when it came to tuneups and buying jerseys, etc, the service is still great and the products are great quality and very cool-looking too! After many years of dealing with them, and probably an easy 3 kids and 6 bikes later, I still think that they are the best! more

Excellent Pricing, Warranty of Products, Personal Service 4/20/2009

I have bought several bikes from Exhale bikes. I have found they have very reasonable prices, offer personal service, warranty their products, and have excellent bike fitting assistance. The owner is very available to his customers and is helpful in guiding customers to the best bike for them. Pros: Example: best croissants in town Cons: What are the drawbacks? more

Dishonest and unsafe service! 4/18/2009

I brought my bike in for a tune-up after my fiance had hers done a week before. When I went to pick up the bike the back brake locked up when I went to pay at the counter. The derailleur, the front brake pads, and the back brake, were all worse then before the tune-up and the tire was out of true. Someone took the bike for a "test drive" crashed it and then tried to pass it off as if it never happened. Not only was it out of tune but there was body damage to the bike. I spoke with Nathan the owner, he repaired the bike, did not replace any of the damaged parts. He refused to take any responsibility for any of his employees. When he dropped off the bike a couple days later I spoke to him about an employee almost running over my fiance in the parking lot. His employee was riding a "girls beach comber" bike at high speeds and jumped a curb in front of the store, anyone walking by would of been seriously hurt. Not to mention would you want your daughters bikes mechanical integrity put at risk? He responded "this is a bike shop we like to ride bikes, what do you want from me?" Pros: None. Cons: I don't have the time to list them all. more
