Great place to live close to Duke and UNC 2/19/2011

I am a resident at UNC hospital and have lived at Mt. Moriah for 8 months now. I moved from Alabama , so I relied on the many reviews I read about most apartment complexes in the area and I toured many during a trip to North Carolina. I knew I found the right place when I came to the Evergreens. This is a great place where most people are young professionals and graduate students. It is quiet and dog friendly. They have two dog parks and a small park for kids. I am also renting a garage for the winter so I don't have to worry about scraping windows in the morning. They open the pool on April 1st so you can start tanning and enjoying North Carolina's weather earlier in the season. The management organizes parties (about 5 since I've been here) and they give prizes to the best dancer or costume or whatever else. Their parties have great food and awesome drinks and it is a great opportunity to meet the neighbors. I called maintenance once because my shower faucet was leaking (about a pint per hour) and they came within 45 minutes and solved the problem. I have really enjoyed my time here and I am writing this review because this is the only way people who move to the area can make an informed decision and narrow down their search. I know that is what I did and I am glad I read good reviews about this place. The aparments are only about 8 years old and I have never seen a bug which is the problem in most of the apartment complexes in Chapel Hill (at least on those that are semi-comparable in price). more

wanderful place to live in Durham 3/16/2008

I moved in about two months ago and it's been really GREAT experience living here. Two months back I was in Texas and couldn't come to visit the place before I moved. It was very difficult for me to find a place to live without actually being there. I talked the manager and staff member, they were really helpful and honest with the everything. They made my move so much easier. The apartment turned out to be even much better than I expected. They even serve breakfast for free! more

It's so Close to Everything and only 5 miles to Duke! 11/9/2006

My family loves it here! We have only been here for a few months and couldnt be happier. I'm working at Duke and the drive is easy. I take my baby to the new playground and he loves it! The pool is awesome plus i can go take a yoga class on the weekend or just work out late at night if needed. they also do pet sitting! They watch our cat for us if we go out of town and even play with him. You really don't find this everyday. Pros: Cute staff! Cons: nothing at all! more

A beautiful community with the best staff you will ever find! 11/9/2006

I've lived here for a few years and I love it. The staff is friendly and helpful and maintenance is always on time and does a good job. The grounds are clean and well kept and they have 2 gated dog parks for my sweetie to run around in. My 2 BR apartment is huge and is perfect for roommates. he's all the way across the other side of the apartment. The pool area is beautiful plus they give free Yoga every Sunday. Pros: Clean, Safe, Huge Apartments, Reasonable Rates, Only a few years old, Great service more
