Minneapolis Events-Adventures

well, i jouind a few months ago and was a bit scared because i have been hanging out with my friends that i've had for the past 5 years since I left California. Heres the kicker...I've been sitting on a happy hour stool talking about all the things we should do. Follow me on this one...We never did anything.hehe.i can't even tell you how many years my best girlfriend and i signed up for tennis lessons and din't do it. Golf was the same. needless to say I heard about the club from my neighbor who a membe a while back and he had a ball. Needless to say, I decided to do it and have played golf and tennis! Is anyone proud of me besides me????anyone?I would give another half star. Pros: super nice people Cons: too much to do. yikes! more

That is what one of my best friends--one of my best friends who is married--said to me. We were chatting about our weekends and plans for the upcoming week. After she heard my plans, she said, "You do the most INTERESTING things!" I said, "It's all with Events & Adventures." She was happy for me and envious all at the same time. Before I joined the club, all but one of my friends were married. Have you noticed? Married friends aren't available to go out with you every weekend. Events & Adventures has been great. Now I go out and do fun things (without having to call 10 people to find ONE who is up for it). I've got some of my best friends from the club--people to go out with on the weekends. (Yea!) When you're out and about, you're bound to meet a great guy--and a more interesting guy, too. I'm just not that intrigued by a guy I meet in a nightclub whose social life consists of tipping a beer bottle. Give me the guy that is rock climbing and salsa dancing or whatev any day. It's been a win-win-win. You establish great friendships, you meet great people to date, you have a good time doing "interesting" things, as my friend Rachel would say. more

Love, love, love this club. Pre-club Started out the shy, weirdo in the corner of the bar. I dont think anyone actually knew I was there. Fast forward... (6 months later) Joined the club, going out about 3 times a week with AWESOME people. Not only started dating (here and there) but also made some life long friends in the process. Not just the boring bar scene, I'm making memories. Started doing things I never thought i would do. Who knew I loved Skydiving?? Or that I can pitch my own tent?? Quality people, quality events, quality of life. Not the shy girl anymore! I just moved here from Texas. The only people I know are from work. I dont really want to hang out with co-workers so I researched a way to make new friends, learn my city and find fun activities and I found it all here. I have made some really great friends who are professional like me but still like to have fun after work. There is such a variety of events and they even do vacations. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to meet new people and have a fun in the process! Pros: Great way to Learn the city and make new friends Cons: none more

I'm a big fan of Events and Adventures -- sometimes it's just fun to hang out with other singles just looking to do something other than head to a bar. I've done a couple of local things with the Seattle group like a wine tasting cruise and cooking classes. I've also gone on a couple of their out of town trips like New York trip last winter, and Bourbon and Horses trip to Kentucky this spring' where I met some great folks from the Minneapolis branch. Big fun. I'd have given them five stars except I wish they had more of those multi-day out of town trips. Pros: Lots of single professionals Cons: Would like more mutli-day trips more
