Best Asian Fusion in Metro Detroit 6/26/2011

My favorite dish is the Madagascar Filet Mignon although I very often opt for the Chilean Sea Bass with the Thai green curry sauce. My husband says the lamb chops are the best in the Metro Detroit area. Better than the Lark. The sauces are what sets them above most other high end restaurants. The service is always excellent and the owner always greets us personally. My only complaint would be, the bread could be better. We've been going there about once a month for years. more

pleasant surprise 5/9/2011

After reading some of the reviews i was a little sceptical more

Horrible overall experience! 8/15/2010

The owner is loud abnd obnoxious. Decor is over the top. Where is the fusion of cuisine? Seemed like an hoighty-toighty Chinese restaraunt. I would rather eat at PF Changs or Pei-Wei than this place. Hard to find, hard to get to. The strip mall where it is located is deserted except for this place and a grocery store. Soon to be only the grocery store. more

Locals give thumbs up 3/24/2010

Our family and friends love this place! We always have top-notch service whenever we go. The waiter/waitress always keeps our glasses full. Pros: elegant atmostphere, great service Cons: $$ more

Crispy Duck--Wow! 1/12/2009

Try the crispy duck--sweet and smoky and delicious! The wasabi dressing on the house salad is usual and zippy, a happy change of pace. Always two duck items on the menu and occasionally a third. Have been here a number of times and have not had a less than excellent meal. The ambiance is somewhat austere, but for the money the food is superior. Pros: Superior food and usual menu, casual dress, easy parking Cons: adequate but somewhat austere decor more

Fusion fun to be found - good wine, good food 6/13/2008

The food is wonderful and the reason locals come back. Try the scallop appetizer or the Tilapia dinner and you won't be disappointed. The duck dishes are also wonderful - you don't usually get more than one to choose from. For your salad, try the creamy wasabi dressing for a spicy change of pace. Pros: good food and wine Cons: can be noisy when crowded more

Fresh and delicious 3/27/2008

I go here about once each month. The food is fresh, delicious, and unique. The fish dishes are especially good. The wait staff is super. I'd highly recommend EG. Pros: fresh more

Great service with a friendly smile 11/24/2007

We came here for a private party and it was my first time at Eurasion Grill. The whole staff was very friendly. The owner David Lum was very organize and had everything looking GREAT! He also had a funny personality and easy to talk to. The food serve was DELICIOUS! All of the food was serve so beautifully. The party was a big success and it will be a time that I remember for the rest of my life. Cheers Pros: Great food added with a great time more

Vegetarians, avoid this place! 5/22/2006

Despite the eclectic menu, this place has no vegetarian entrees. When I told the waiter I was vegan, he said all he could serve me was a small green salad. The tofu entree is made with chicken stock. After I pleaded with the waiter to bring me something, I got a plate of steamed tofu and vegetables with no seasoning whatsoever. For this, I was charged the amount as for one of their pricy entrees. more

Overprice Overated Terrible Food 2/15/2006

I have been here twice, once 5 years ago and once 6 months ago. This place is overpriced and the food is horrible. It is more a chinese menu than fusion. I have had better frozen chinese from the supermarket than this. Their soups are bland, the chinese food is also bland and overcooked. And the prices! Stay away from this place! Pros: Atmosphere Cons: Food, Price, Food/Price more

Unfused 4/21/2003

I agree with a previous reviewer that this is not truly ""Fusion"" cuisine. More Chinese than anything. The food overall is O.K. not great but average. They seem to have a few dishes in which they excell but not all of them. The decor is pleasant but nothing special. The service can be bad. S L O W servers bordering on clueless. The host (I don't know if he is the owner) was rather obnoxious and drinking at another table. He was at times funny, but crude. Beware if you are thin skinned, his jokes can be ethnically offensive. Kinf of like an asian ""Archie Bunker"". Maybe that's the attraction. Overall expensive considering all the other Chinese restaurants around. Pros: Easy Parking, No Wait for Table Cons: Loud Host, Overpriced more

Pleased 3/13/2003

Asian fusion bistro at its best in Oakland County. Exotic. People that appreciate it are adventurous about food and dining. more

Not Fusion 11/15/2002

I agree with the previous reviewer on the restaurant being more Chinese than fusion. I have eaten in many east/west fusion restaurants in other parts of the U.S. and this is not one. Although the food wasn't bad, in my opinion there are better Chinese restaurants at more reasonable prices. I guess calling it fusion means being able to charge more money. In fact, for the quality, I found it expensive. And yes, the owner is rather loud and obnoxious. But it's his place and I don't think he cares what anyone thinks anyway. Service can be slow and clueless. Pros: Easy Access Cons: Overpriced, Loud Owner, Slow Service more

Decent Food, Rude Owner 9/21/2002

More Chinese cuisine than ""fusion"". This place would be better off if the owner would stop going from table to table bad mouthing other people. He can totally ruin your dining experience with his negative attitude. The food can be good. more
