I take my wife for a spa treatment and massage for our anniversary and for her birthday every year. We dad gone to a couple different spas in Back Bay for years in which the last couple times we didn't have the best experiences. Etant came highly recommended to me by a colleague, so I thought I would give it a try. Why not, right? My colleague didn't talk it up highly enough. Our experience exceeded both myself and my wife's expectations. In my opinion most higher end spas in downtown Boston give a great massage, facial, treatments, etc. That's a give in - It's what they do! The aspects that made Etant so spectcular was the atmosphere, the services, and the staff. We almost felt like we were in our own home - that's how comfortable we felt. Spa's can be a bit stuffy and pretensious, but I didn't get that sense here. My sense was they wanted to make me feel more comfortable then over the top pampered and in my opinion comfort is the best pampering one can get. I want to thank the staff at Etant and looking forward to seeing each of you again!!! By the way, I am a bit shocked about the last posting considering what myself and everyone else has to say. Maybe you should go to Newbury and you will get a high dose of "fake" people.
