It takes a lot of patience to get a good experience at Encore Music. They occassionally will get an interesting guitar that is priced fairly. For what it was worth, I would focus on some other used music stores in the area. If you have time though, I would add it to the circuit of used stores to occassionally search through for guitars and amps. I just wouldn't put it first or second on the list. more

Encore Music is a good music consignment store 7/29/2005

If you can manage to get to Encore Music during regular business hours, as the hours of operation are pretty lacking, you might find a decent deal on a guitar or amp. The prices are a little high for used gear, but you'll definitely find guitars that you won't find at Guitar Center. The store is pretty cramped, so watch your step. more
