Wild Waves 9/22/2006

I live in the neighborhood next door and would please urge people not to park their cars in front of our houses just to save a few dollars. Also, if you are going to bring your own food and come out to your car to eat it, please don't leave your trash laying in the street! Although the management at Wild Waves tries to be good neighbors to us, it's really annoying to have these problems all through the summer. WW itself can be very fun, but is very crowded on sunny weekends, so be prepared to wait in long lines for more popular rides. And last, if you do have to wait or you have some other customer service issue, please don't take it out on the teenage workers there. As the parent of two teenagers working there this past summer, I can vouch for the fact that they try to do their jobs as best they can. I can't believe the horrible names that customers called my kids every week (in front of their own children and others waiting in line) because their child was too short or too tall (or the adult was!) and the ride operator had to tell them they couldn't ride. Look at the signs before you wait in line! more

Wild Waves/Enchanted Village 9/4/2006

If you like water and rides this may be the place for you. On a mellow day this place is passable. On a jam packed weekend it is crazy. If you are in no hurry and don't mind long lines you are going to have a great time. We took our kids and they loved it. It is full of teenagers, that's expected. I would give this park a high score for fun but a low score for prices and food services. Parking is $12, admission is around $37 per person, a beverage is at least $3.50, a personal sized pizza is $6.50, a corn dog is around $4.50, and if you want to rent tubes to float on they cost money too! I guess for a family on a budget this would be a big expense day. There are seasons passes that are reasonable but again it adds up. For a family of four without seasons passes it could easily cost $200. for the day. I think that's why they say entertainment costs money. As for the attractions, they are fun. They have a pirate ship water area and a rides for kids. For a little more adventure there are several water slides. One slide called Zooma Falls features tubes that fit four. There is the lazy river and a wave pool as well. The park has a couple of roller coasters, bumper cars, and various other rides. A couple of tips. If you want to save a couple of bucks you can park further away and walk. I personally don't do that but I see lots of others who don't mind. The other way to save a few bucks is packing a lunch. You are not allowed to take food or drinks into the park. What you can do is have a ice chest in your car and go out to the parking lot when it's time to have a bite to eat. Just get your hand stamped so you can come back in for more fun. All in all, it's a fun day and almost a must do once a year type of thing. Just be ready to take your time and don't be in a hurry or stressed about money. more

Are you hot? Wanna get wet 7/2/2006

Wild waves water park is a great water park. My family really enjoys this place and we go atleast once a year while we are passing through on our way to visit family. The slides are great and there is an activity suitable for even our youngest child. We make a fun day out of it and our oldest will talk about it for days! The entire park is clean and very well maintained. nice grassy and shady areas to relax, calm down or eat lunch. Admission prices are a little high though, so we limit our visit to once a year. more

Welcome to the greatest water park in the Pacfic NW 11/20/2005

Wild Waves and Enchanted Village has something for everyone. This is the greatest water park I have ever been to in the Pacific NW. The water park has numerous water rides like the rapids, thunder falls, zooma falls, and even a fantastic wave pool. They have a kiddie water section. With palm trees that rain, pee wee rapids and so much more. They have a huge food court, a restaurant , or you can bring your own picnic. They have lockers and changeing areas and the restrooms are clean and tidy. The enchanted village has the best thrill rides and lots of things for the little one's too Prices are great for all you are getting ,The Enchanted village, The thrill rides, Arcades and the Wild Waves water park all in one place. Money well spent for such a fantastic day with your family. I was so impressed can't wait to go visit again. more

go there when it's hot 9/26/2005

Wild Waves is a little pricey (around $120 for a family of four) for other than special occasions. They do have water fun for all ages, and it is a good-sized park. There are plenty of water areas for all ages, even for our 1 1/2 year-old. You can spend all day there, but don't forget your sunscreen: the park gets very hot! more

Mediocre 8/25/2005

Enchanted Village is one of the few places in Washington that has roller coasters. I am a big fan of roller coasters and have been to many of big ones in Japan, California, and Florida but the ones here are very small. You can't really get a thrill from the rides if it only lasts for 30secs and the drops are sooooo small. more

Wild Waves amusement park 8/21/2005

Wild Waves and Enchanted Village is actually a pretty good amusement park. A part of the Six Flags family, they usually have a new attraction each year (this year it's Zooma Falls, a water park slide that is pretty cool). Echanted Village has a good diversity of rides - some for older kids, some for younger ones - and is large enough that you can spend the day without doing everything twice. It's fairly reasonably priced (considering what parks cost these days) and the food sold there isn't terribly expensive. more

Seattle needs a good amusement park!! 8/19/2005

Seattle is in serious need of an amusement park that works for anyone over the age of 13. Enchanted parks was fun as a kid, but is incredibly overpriced. The rides are pretty lame, and you have to deal with long lines of young teens to do anything. Not worth doing, hopefully we will see a six flags here someday (maybe indoors??) more

Much Better now the Six Flags owns it 8/18/2005

Enchanted Village/Wild Waves had fallen into some disrepair until Six Flags bought it a few years ago. It seemed kind of dirty and not well-run. Now, it's relatively clean (as much as you can expect of this type of place) and well-run with new rides coming every year It's still not one of the big amusement parks you'd find in other parts of the country, but it's pretty darned good for a place where you only have the chance to really operate during the summer months. Be SURE to get a discount ticket -- either from Safeway or just by bringing in a specially marked Coke product can. Anyone who pays the full $32.99 to get in is being ripped off! more

Worth a visit just to ride the Timberhawk 8/18/2005

Enchanted Village has been given a jolt by the addition in the last few years of some badly needed new rides. The star attraction among these is the Timberhawk, a fantastic wooden coaster that opened in 2003. In my opinion, nothing beats the ride on a good, fast wooden coaster, and the Timberhawk doesn't disappoint. Although Enchanted Village now carries the "Six Flags" brand, don't get too excited—this is no Six Flags. All the usual amusement park rides are represented here, and kids will have no trouble making a full day out of a visit. If you are a coaster enthusiast, then don't miss the Timberhawk. Otherwise, there are other Seattle area attractions that are more deserving of your time. more

Wild Waves & Enchanted Village Amusement Park 8/16/2005

This amusement park is the perfect place for a hot day visit! There are several rides and attractions with water (hence the water park name), plus a decent sized outdoor pool, complete with a wave machine. The atmosphere is great—it’s a fun place, for families, couples, or friends. The hardcore roller coasters are fewer than I would like to see, but I can cut it some slack because the ones that are there are very good. There is even a wooden coaster that goes up to high speeds and a pretty impressive height. I’m hoping the park continues to grow and becomes a truly perfect amusement park. more

A water theme park with a few roller coasters and rides. 8/12/2005

Enchanted village / wildwaves is a water theme park tailoring mostly to people wanting to have fun in the sun. They have a new ride zooma falls, you tube down a huge slide with twists and turns. They also have a few roller coasters (like the timber hawk) but the small amount of roller coasters they have would not satisfy the die hard coaster fan. Enchanted village / wild waves has become more for wet fun in the sun, so bring your bathing suit and get ready to hit the slides and the wave pool but bring your wallet as the parks price has gone up with up recently! more

suinscreen? check. billions of dollars? check. 7/31/2005

You'll need a good, long day at this place to get any fun in at all, unless you enjoy waiting in long lines and losing all the people you came with. But the rides, for many, are completely worth it. There are plenty of awesome water slides and even a wave-pool. It's a long wait, but a fun time., more

Wild Waves Water Park 7/3/2005

They have something for everyone in your family. They have a kids area with a pirate theme, lots of slides, the conga river, and more. The place is pretty packed sometimes, and it can take quiet some time but it is worth it. Remember to wear sun screen because every time I go I get burned. It is a great place to go. more
