Enchanted Island Amusement Park

I had planned a trip to the park as well as time at enchanted island for my child's birthday. When we were mistakenly at the island's picnic table instead of the park's (not marked by the entrance we came in) In the middle of our cake and ice cream the OWNER of the park came up to us and started with "That table paid $125 to be here , that table paid $125 to be here you paid nothing and moved the picnic tables..." she continued to yell at us over it. When I tried to explain to her that there was no need to be rude that it was an honest mistake she became more snappy towards us. I had truly been looking forward to spending time at a place for kids but after being treated to rudely by the owner herself I could not see encouraging that behavior by taking my kids there. It's a good thing that my daughter was not older or she would have been as heartbroken as I was. more

This is a nive place to take young kids, but older kids would likely find themselves bored here. It is a small amusement park located within a park. The park is really nice as well and people are often times found having a nice picnic there. The amusement park is a little run-down and not the cleanest place that I have ever visited, but it is reasonably priced and the kids enjoy it. You can also rent boats here which is a fun (and unexpected) thing to do in the middle of Phoenix! more

This amusement park is set up on an island inside Encanto Park downtown Phoenix. It is quite small but clean and well kept. The rides are basic but in good working order. There are boats to rent. It's a great place for a picnic. There are bathrooms and water fountains as well as handicap access to everything. more

Enchanted Island is a great place for family gatherings, birthday parties or just spending a family day together. This old-school amusement park offers bumper boats, mini roller coaster, a beautiful carousel and other rides that appeal to smaller kids under 10. There's also a small train that takes guests all around Encanto Park. An all day pass is just $10 for kids and $6 for adults, so it's a great deal. more

This is an amusement park inside of an actual park! They have some fun stuff to do for the younger kids and it's nice for a relaxing day. They have little boat rentals for the man made lake and lots of picnic and parking spaces, too. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly but this park isn't in the best area in town and it's not much fun for the older kids. more
