If you can get past the horrible front desk, you might have a good experience. Twice in two visits they have made errors in my appointment time. Once they had made it for three ...

Nhi was working. I loved going to this place, only b/c she was great. She would listen so carefuly and do exactly as told. I still haven't found a replacment :-( more

The best since Vegas 10/20/2006

I had a shave in the mens club by the master barber and it was actually better than the one I had in Vegas. He does the entire shave with the straight razor and didn't nick me once. Plus it was closer and lasted longer than any shave I have ever given myself. Definately an A++ as far as the other comment about the barber being rude, nothing could be farther from what I experienced. more

great haircut great experaince 9/13/2006

I dropped in at emerge not knowing excatly what it was and ended up leaving with a great hair cut. The sylist was young and hip and completely down to earth. Listened to what i wanted and gave me excatly that. She didn't push any products on me. All and all it was a great experaince everyone was very nice. Teh atomophere in teh salon is a little lacking and feels like a retail store which was a little dissapointing. The price was a surprise at teh end as well I was expecting to pay a snobby Newbury St price of over 100 dollars but actually recieved a cut and blowdry for 75 all and all it was a great experaince Pros: Great location great staff Cons: on newbury and noisey in the salon more

Best Salon & Day Spa in Boston 8/8/2006

I have been to the salon many times and ALWAYS get exactly what I want. They do hair extensions that are out of this world! The stylists and assistants are wonderful. If your looking for a great head message with your shampoo, this is the best! Pros: Fabulous salon Cons: parking- what do you expect, it's in Boston more

I found most of the staff I dealt with to be polite but the barber who cut my hair was not only rude and crass, but he gave me the worst haircut I have ever had. I would expect so much more from a high end salon. The other services they offer are fine. I would recommend you stay clear of the "master barber". Cons: The so called "Master Barber" more

I had to wait an HOUR past my appointment time for my treatment. A local tv news person came in and they bumped me. I didn't catch on, but someone who works there told me. I won't be back. Cons: rude service more
