HORRIBLE! 8/25/2010

This is the most disgusting salon I have ever been to.VERY dirty and smelly, not worth any amount of money. I recommend going to another place, it's not very sanitary and I bet rarely gets any kind of disinfecting. YUCK! more

THE WOREST PLACE ON EARTH 6/22/2010

Emerald Isle Salon is so nasty when I walked in there to do a sesson of tanning I walked into the room and it smelled like it had not been cleaned for years . The Customer Service is not to talk about. There is this guy there named Frank and he is was so pushy and wanted me buy there oner priced tanning lotion. And the styist are also nasty just the way they look is like whould I really want any of girls to touch me and I have seen there work if that is what u call it . But all in all please dont go there. And if u do please don't try these girls there names are TYNA, STACY, KAREN, BB . THEY WILL REALLY MESS U UP Pros: NOTHING Cons: EVERTHING IS A DRAW BACK THERE more

Stay Away 1/28/2009

Poor Service and credit card charges without approval. Check out People's Court to find out how this owner does business. Pros: none Cons: Credit card misuse; rude service more

Worst service 5/20/2008

Do not, I repeat NOT give this salon your credit card for any service. I went in to buy products and tan and it was at that time they got my credit card number and started charging my account for my tanning contract (I was paying cash for my tanning package). He not only recieved cash payments and charge payments but he also refused to make good on the mistake. Patrick is as non professional as they come and rarely returns phone calls. more

Owner is a SCAMMER! 3/27/2008

Do NOT give these people your credit card info - they will over charge you. I went in to tan and did NOT want a "package deal". I paid with a CC and noticed 2 months later that they were still charging me. I called one of their twitty teenage employees who said I must have bought a package, which I never did, and that was what the charges were for. I said Ok - if I supposedly bought a package then produce a receipt or contract where I authorized them to charge and of course they couldn't. They still continued to charge me so I cancelled the credit card. The owner should probably have employees working there who have some common business sense instead of the high schoolers that do nothing but chit chat all day Cons: CREDIT CARD SCAMMERS more

OVER CHARGE!!!!!! 12/9/2007

Patrick seems to like to charge people after their contract has expired. He refuses to call back, and to credit people's account. DO NOT GO TO EMERALD TANNING SERVICES!!!!! more

Poor service 10/20/2007

I go there for the tanning because of the location and the prices which are about average. However the staff is very unprofessional . I went to purchase a gift card and the two teenagers whom worked there didnt even know how to activate it. One of the girls who works there always has her friends hanging around. I would reccomend the tanning salon just down the street called Pacific Beach Tanning if you want a cleaner and more professional atmosphere. Pros: location Cons: service more

Best prices on tanning packages (ask for Brittnie only) 9/29/2006

I went in just to check it out and was amazed with how friendly the employees were. I paid a promotional price of $12.50 for my haircut and it was exactly what I wanted. I also got a killer deal on a 16 month tanning package, $199.99, can u believe it. The place is impressive. Pros: Great stylists, inviting atmosphere, welcoming staff Cons: They don't have a facialist. more

Professional and affordable 3/14/2005

I received a few haircuts last fall from this location and was impressed. I have also tanned their and received massages. The staff was friendly and when I received my haircut it actually was what I wanted for once. Pros: Location, Staff, Variety of services more
