Wow this place is horrible! 6/6/2008

I had seen this place from the West Seattle bridge for awhile, and finally got around to trying it. I love Philly Cheesesteaks, and I thought this might be some hidden gem. Boy was I wrong. Not only do they have no idea what a Philly Cheesesteak is, they stink at cooking and running a restaurant. The place is really scuzzy, and the food is representative of that. They might want to get into selling shoes, or digging ditches. Here's a hint, if you are Korean, try sticking with Bul Kogi, or Kalbi, don't try to cook food from a place you've never even been to. Cheeseteaks don't have green peppers, or mushrooms on them, save those for the other bad asian dishes that you serve at a place named after a sandwhich that you have insulted. Pros: Zero Cons: Scuzzy, inaccessible, bad tasting, not authentic more

Not Seattle's Best 1/5/2007

I'm from the Philadelphia suburbs and my favorite foods are the hoagie and cheesesteak. I went here about 2 weeks ago and was disatisfied to find that unlike that other place on Queen Anne, they don't have Tastykakes, Philadelphia city guides or newspapers or pictures of famous Philadelphia landmarks. I could tell the owner wasn't from PA because he was asian and was from Seattle. I asked for NO green peppers which I hate, and the guy still put a lot of green pepper on. The sandwich was very small and you have to pay $1 each time you want a refill on your soda. Try Philadelphia Fevre in Queen Anne instead because that will be the closest you can get to a real cheesesteak in Seattle. Cons: Everything! more
