I released my car from the towing yard to Ellis and Salazar on the First of October. It is the 25th now (this work was not supposed to take nearly a month) and they called me today to let me know my car was ""ready"".. Their standard of work is drastically BELOW average. My car had additional paint damage which upon informing them of this they told me that it was from rocks on the highway. It is SO obviously NOT from that (and one of their own employees noted that it wasn't from rocks on the highway). Do rocks leave spiral scratches? Say.. like a watch band would leave if you went from standing to kneeling with your hand on the car? NO they most certainly wouldn't. Not only that but the windshield has so many little chips in it its like glitter almost in some areas. And if that wasn't enough when I actually started the car it jerked so hard my body actually jerked in reaction to the movement. Upon further inspection they said the motor mount *may* of been damaged in the wreck as well. This is all after they called me to tell me that my car was ready to be picked up. The AC belt is now squealing (it is somewhat old but its a constant squeal now). My car is still there. They are going to fix my car before I pick it up, or they will be really unhappy with the results. If you want shoddy work and someone to come out and lie to your face get your car worked on at Ellis and Salazar. I would rate it LESS than one star but it won't let me. Go figure. I will say that aside from the rest of the employees I give Anthony Diaz a thumbs up.. It has to be difficult working for a sub-par company.
Pros: They had peppermints in the waiting area.
Cons: Service, quality of work, honesty (the guy lied straight to my face), treatment of customers, not done on time (more than 2 weeks over date), additional damage sustained while in their care.
