Late Lunches 2/3/2007

Great beer. Great burgers. I love that I can pop in after 2pm and still have lunch on a week day...not so easy to do in West Seattle. more

I like the Elliot Bay Brewery & Pub 8/16/2006

Solid food and very good beer at this place. However, the best thing I like about it is that it is kid friendly pretty much any time we go there. The staff is generally friendly and accommodating. We like it a alot. more

Rock Solid 12/8/2005

Never a bad day here. The pub fare is indeed Pub Plus, the beer good, the nitro cask interesting. It gets really busy at 6-7 pm with lines out the doors. This will be a standard in West Sea for a long long time. more

I first discovered this place when I went for a beer after work with a friend- that was three years ago and this is still my favorite place to eat on California Ave. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is simple and delicious, whether you want a nice big salad or a juicy burger. The best fries in Seattle! Really, there is no other place like it- casual, inexpensive, and wonderful. Check it out! Great beer, great folks, great food- what more could you ask for!? more

Surprisingly Good 8/16/2005

So you want to hang out with some friends at a brewpub. You go to the local watering hole, and you are surprised to find out that the food is far more than "pub fare" . . . it is actually good. That's the Elliot Bay Brewery. The microbrews are good too, but the menu is surprisingly comprehensive . . . it is the perfect place to go to please everyone. I am particularly enamored of the Italian club sandwich, I can't quite describe it. Staff is very friendly, and they are accommodating for groups. more

Free Wireless Hotspot in West Seattle 8/16/2005

Good connectivity with a great range - I actually found out about it when I booted up my laptop in a bar downstairs. The ambiance inside is a little cold, but they've tried to warm it up with rugs and comfy chairs, and the people are friendly. Their signal is open for anyone to use, just scan for the network and connect (no encryption). Limited pastries and lighter fare (sandwiches, etc), as well as decent coffee drinks. more

Easy for kids 4/19/2005

We go to the Elliott Bay Pub often for a quick dinner, burgers, salads, and they are very kid friendly. My son loves it there, so far we have yet to have a waitperson get frustrated by a three year old who wants to order for himself, gets lots of milk refills and is very chatty. Decent food, great burgers, the prices are fine, not too high. We always get an Entertainment Book each year and there is always a coupon for 1/2 off a meal, so that helps. Recommended, although sometimes crowded at popular times. more
