Fantastic Facial and Microderm.....I am coming from Florida with sun and skin damage training horses outside all the time....Cezon was not only informative and knowledgable about my skin care but by the time she was done I did not believe the feeling of my skin and how much younger I looked....This was so impressive for my first visit I cannot wait to go back...She recommended a repeat treatment of collagen before Thanksgiving and I will be there asking for her.... more

Friendly and Amazing Red Door Signature Services. 10/22/2010

Upon first look, this Elizabeth Arden spot is noticeable only by its red awning sandwiched between Cheesecake Factory and Blue Mesa. There signature massage was to die for, great technique from the therapist, which is very important, essential oils, warm towels, and much more. The facial was relaxing and educational, the technician pampered and respectfully recommended a product, which I bought. The nail experience is both relaxing and beautifying. Signature manis and pedis include an exfoliating scrub, paraffin wax, and choice of lotion fragrance. Pedicure chairs are cozy, the service was excellent. The Red Door also have a full salon, color, cut, and style. more

Great experience 9/11/2010

I always get the best manicures and pedicures it is well worth the money. I have tried other places and always come back to this spa. Also, hair treatments are great. I'm always very happy with the end result. more

Microdermabrasion 8/9/2010

I got microdermabrasion at this spa. It is a nice spa - it is a little overpriced for what you get. I have had microdermabrasion at another spa and they did just as good of a job for the fraction of the price. more

Wonderful!!! 5/14/2010

Best Spa Experience from a Gift Certificate Purchase 4/21/2010

Today my girlfriend walked into the house and I was shocked how good she looked. She is always beautiful, but I had given her a gift certificate for a massage, facial, manicure & pedicure and she loved it. She stated the staff were so friendly and was surprised to get her makeup done by the celebrity makeup artist from New York who was visiting and bought everything. She deserves this pampering because she is my everything. I would highly recommend this to any guy who wants to buy a Gift Certificate to surprise a loved one! Thank for making her day, she travels for work constantly and deserves a beauty break from a company that has quality services. Pros: great customer service and experience Cons: none more

Rude Rick 4/14/2010

I've had several experiences with rude employees at the Dallas location however the location is very convenient for me (Park Cities) so I have overlooked it in the past. Recently I missed a 9am wax appointment and received a rude and insensitive call from the spa. This was my first time to miss an appointment. My toddler son woke up with 103 temperature so my morning was filled with taking care of him and getting him medical treatment (he had croup & strep throat together). I forgot about my appointment. After I explained this to the man from the spa he told me I still should have called because they have had a technician waiting to do my leg wax. Well, my appointment was for a brow wax but not really the point. I apologized and told him I just forgot with all that was going on with my son (btw, my son was crying in the background of this phone call). They normally charge you 100% of the service if you don't cancel within 24hrs and he did wave this fee...THIS time as he stated many times. I would have gladly paid for the service if he could have been a little nicer about the situation. Instead he treated me like a bad child that he was doing a favor for by waving the fee. There are plenty of nice spas in Dallas and at this point I'm unwilling to be treated poorly by these people at Red Door. So they lost a customer of 10 years after this experience but I doubt they care. Pros: good location Cons: rude employees more

overprices experienced 4/23/2009

I was so excited when my fiance had surprised me with a full day at the Red Door Spa. It was for Valentine's and a very genorous gift. Pros: Good Facial Cons: Staff, poor mani/pedi, poor customer service more

Average spa experience 1/20/2009

My spa day was rather enjoyable, but I'd done a 2-hour boot camp the day before, so the masseuse totally hurt me! :( It was a good hurt sometimes, and I even told her about my previous excursions, but she seemed determined to squash out those toxins from my back and shoulders. Sometimes it was quite uncomfortable, but I do feel tons better faster than I would have without the massage. My facial was okay...the lady claimed that Red Door doesn't allow the use of an extractor for white/blackheads, but somehow I have a shallow scab on my nose where she'd been working...hmmm...I don't think that was done with a fingernail!! But my face did feel really good and polished afterward--I was glowing. :) My nail artist was professional and efficient--my nails look excellent, and she even gave me a few pointers on how to prolong the shine. My day was fun, and I loved the warmed massage tables and warm towels. I didn't like how thin the walls were, though--the Cheesecake Factory is right next to the spa, and I could hear people cheering/chattering and I guess someone was celebrating a birthday, because I heard people singing, too. It was rather distracting at times. But overall, I did like being pampered. On one note, my package was supposed to feature the Signature Facial with Prevage, but evidently I didn't need that product since my aesthetician didn't use any of that line on me; however, I believe I was charged that price. All in all, it was an average experience but for a ""highly recommended""-level price. Pros: Ambience, parking, service Cons: Thin walls, high prices more

worst experience ever 11/20/2008

from the moment I walked in, I was rushed to get my hair color/cut and styled. I had an apointment to also get a mani and pedi, but at the end I was only given a choice of the two, I decided not to do neither. When I walked out into the light, I still had hair dye all over my neck, forehead, and ears. I called to complain and talk to a manager, I left a concerned message with the front desk - phone call was never returned. I called their corporate office and all I got was a appology from a no name secretary. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE! more

best overall spa and salon- thave Sunday hair appointments!!!!!!! 7/18/2008

I was so pleased to find out that they do hair services on Sunday's- most hair salons are closed on Sunday. I received a massage from the most healing male therapist i HAVE EVER met! He gave me the best deep tissue massage ever, I have horrible neck, shoulder, tension and TMJ, he gave me some stretches to do for the TMJ and I felt so much better the next day, really felt that his energy and massage technique helped me with my pain, very healing. My haircut was so artistic, and my color was amazing---- best day ever, can't wait to go back!! Pros: open on Sunday's!!! Extremely trained and professional staff also open until 9pm more

My first experience here was at the hair salon. I was so pleased I had to come on here and write about it. Anyone who is not pleased with this red door has a negative attitude about life altogether. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I had a major hair correction on my color and cut. My colorist assured me she would help me in anyway she could to make me feel my best, and she did. I felt beautiful! And my stylist gave me the perfect finish to my hair. I felt so good about myself I called my girlfriend and we went to happy hour. They definitley know what they are doing there. VERY WELL TRAINED!!!!!!! I will go here for my next hair service, and so is my girlfriend, hey afterwards we are going to go to blue mesa for happy hour. Man it s fun being a girl. Thanks Red Door!! Pros: very trained and willing staff, beautiful atomosphere Cons: none!!!!! Love the place more

Worst SPA experience 11/12/2007

I was excited when I received a gift certificate for a day @ the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon. I gathered a couple of my friends and we decided to have a girls day out at the SPA. When I tried to schedule our appointments for four girls about 2 weeks in advance, they told me that each girl needed to do their own scheduling. The receptionist assured me that as long as my friends referenced my name when scheduling, they will arrange the time slots so we can do the pedicures/manicures together. Since my package included a facial and massage, I went ahead and booked the first appointment of the day and go in for a head start prior to the nail services. Pros: Can't think of any Cons: Customer service, constant upsale of products/services more

Very friendly and chic atmosphere 9/29/2007

I had a great experience at this salon. I was able to make an appointment only a couple hours prior to my haircut. My stylist was very skilled. I told her exactly what I wanted and she gave me what I had asked for. I am so pleased with my haircut! more

Too much $$ for terrible atmosphere 3/31/2007

This spa is totally gross! I could hear all the noises from the surrounding restaurants and the toilets constant flushing during my service. I can?t understand why the prices are so high. Nothing feels clean. There are stains on the carpet, stains on the sheets (massage), and stains on the blankets... It?s just nasty. No hot water for pedicures. The poor nail techs have to carry bowels for water from the sink in the back to fill up the pedicure tubs. All of my service techs were great- I loved my hair cut, massage, facial, manicure & pedicure. Checking out was some what unpleasent- seemed like it was very stressful that day. Management seemed incompetent when interacting with the client ahead of me in line and also with the employees. Elizabeth Arden needs to shape up. I thought this spa was supposed to be top notch but I think I will go some where that is newer and cleaner next time. There are so many new spas in this area that are pristine and better priced. Pros: Decent services & Polite employees Cons: Parking, Unclean, Loud, & too expensive more

The Worst Customer Service 7/13/2006

The people who work here are extremely rude and pretentious. The end result is less than mediocre. more

expensive but worth it 1/3/2005

Yes it's expensive but worth every dollar that you spend. This is what a spa should be, they give you the royal treatment and make you feel very comfortable. Don't plan on doing anything after you leave this spa except enjoy the rest of the day as you are just so R-E-L-A-X-E-D. A great place to treat somebody special. I plan on taking my daughter here for her 30th birthday Pros: waiting areas, staff more
