A little grungy and run down, rather like a hotel about two decades past its prime.

You have to try this place! 10/23/2010

I've tried the Y, Curves, and a few other places, and have never felt as comfortable as I do here. I don't feel out of place - a huge plus as I'm not a size 2 exercise queen! The staff is genuine and are interested in your well-being! They have a variety of classes to participate in, and you can get nutrition advice! Go visit - you won't be disappointed! more

Best Ever! 10/23/2010

I've been to many different clubs, and this is by far the best! The staff are super helpful, and the amenities next to none! I highly recommend Le Club to anyone interested in tennis, fitness, and swimming! Did I mention they have a therapy pool? Ahhhhh!! Great place and great people! What more could you ask? more

Le Club 10/20/2010

Le Club has something to offer everyone! Massage, Tennis, swimming and fitness... The staff is always friendly especially the front desk who are always a joy to be around and will go out of their way to help and make all their members happy. I especially enjoy massages with Tori and taking tennis lessons with David! The social scene here is wonderful, everyone is always very friendly! more

Swim Lesson program 10/18/2010

As a parent, we all want the best for our kids. I have 2 children, and have tried swim lessons all over town. JCC, Swimtastic, and even Nicolet Rec. After watching my kids sit with 7 other children, endure a 45 minute lesson with over 1/2 of the time spent sitting on the side of the pool, my kids left lessons at other places feeling sad, cold and disappointed. Not to mention, my kids weren't swimming any better. Then I called LeClub. I was encouraged to go and try the swim lessons with my kids with no pressure from the membership person, Betsy. I was so impressed. Even after a few lessons, I watched my kids' swim strokes really improve. The instructors showed up on time, gave a great lesson (with only 2 other kids), were energetic and the kids had a great time. We love it there and have decided to join. If you're looking for a great swim lesson program, try Le Club! more

Great fitness club! 10/18/2010

I have been a member of Le Club for about 7 years and this is the first club I have ever joined. Since starting at LeClub I had the opportunity to work with some of their trainers and participate in their classes. They are awesome and have helped me lose over 100 lbs. One of the trainers that have helped me the most is Rebecca Kohler. She is a great trainer and has really showed me how to work out with weights. I would highly recommend joining this awesome club! more

Great Club 10/18/2010

I must admit I was nervous about starting with an athletic club. I am so glad I did. I have been a member of LeClub for about 6 months an in that time I have made so many friends. The club is great, but the people is what have helped be stick with this new healthy lifestyle. more

The Total Package! 10/17/2010

I have been a member of NS Elite, the YMCA, the JCC, and other clubs, but the only one that has the complete package is Le Club. My children worked-out and played tennis here and now our grand-daughter is in the pool for swimming lessons on weekends. Whether it is Tennis, a good workout or group classes like Zumba (with Marla), Yoga (with Anne), Spinning (with Mike, Ellen, or Kelly), Body Pump (with Mike or Lauren), doing laps in one of the 3 pools, Cardiac tennis (with David), Tennis & Racquetball Leagues, or just sitting at the Courtyard Café socializing with other members, it’s hard to beat Le Club. My wife and I have had them all, including messages and personal training. And, the coffee and food has been a pleasant surprise. Recently, another club family member told me that they came back to Le Club just for the children’s program. In the past 10 years, I have seen them come and go, but when you see them coming back, there must be something special about this club. I have seen improvements to the facility, staff, childcare, tennis courts, gym, and the locker rooms. When I needed to say something, they listened and responded. For the amenities, I see them as competitive as any of the other clubs, and we were able to take advantage of one of the membership promos with Betty to keep our costs in line. It is hard to find the complete package under one roof… and yes, the members talk amongst themselves because this club is a family to many. My wife and I can be found at the club at least 4 days or evenings a week They are truly the best complete package for a sport club in the Milwaukee area. more

Something for everyone 10/9/2010

Le club has become my home away from home. They have so much to offer from the pools, to tennis, massage, fitness classes, and a social hangout. My personal favorite is Marla's Zumba class!!! The staff is friendly and will go out of their way to help. I would be lost if I didn't have Le Club! more

Amazing pools, tennis, and nutrition programs! 10/7/2010

I have been a member of Le Club for over 2 years and I have participanted in several activities they offer each month. Recently I joined the boot camp which was a blast! We went outside for each workout and were pushed to extremes. I have also been working with a Dietitian and my eating habits have dramatically improved. The no court fee tennis is ideal for a regular player. Le Club is a great club to belong to in Milwaukee. more

Well worth the 5 STARS 5/12/2010

I haven't experienced any of the negatives writen below as I think they have new management at the club. Jeff the GM has an office downstairs and is always willing to have members go in his office and have a chat! Always very accomodating staff in all areas of the club. Cleanliness is above average considering the amount of traffic in the club on a daily basis. I was once a member of Elite and Brynwood and I can honestly say that this beats both. The newly renovated courts are probably the best I have played on, lighting is fantstic and the level of noise is exceptional compared to other clubs I have played at. Also, the number of leagues and teams I can be a part of at this club exceeded all my expectations! Pros: Newly renovated tennis courts, staff, outdoor pool Cons: Was gonna say tennis memberhip but no court fees! more

Le Club best club around 5/8/2010

Le Club is one of the best clubs I have ever been to - wonderful, friendly, helpful staff, clean facilities are constantly being updated and improved, 3 pools, great locker rooms, one of the few clubs that actually offers a lounge where you can order a drink and socialize - not just work out and leave - great for networking, zumba classes are awesome - many, many free classes offered weekly, highly recommend whether you are looking for fitness, swim, tennis - Le Club really cares for its members and provides great service Pros: knowledgeable staff, great facilities, friendly members Cons: family locker room could be larger more

Liked the facility, but staff was TERRIBLE! 4/4/2010

I was a member here for several years until the Northshore WAC opened. Mostly here for cardio and weights which seemed like an afterthought here. (Le Club caters mostly to tennis players and swimmers). The outdoor pool is what sold me, although when I got the tour, it was after the pool had closed, and was the epitome of serenity. Daytime at that pool was a rude awakening. Kid camp counselors SCREAMING to be heard over the SCREAMING children. Stay-at-home moms socializing while the kids ran, threw pool toys, splashed, and SCREAMED!!! Even headphones didn't drown out the decibel levels! The lifeguards sat quietly sunning and flirting with each other, during all this until I DARED eat a sandwich (from their outdoor grille) on the wrong side of the pool. Got quite the spanking from the lifeguard, who barked his reprimand, while the kids' behaviour was ignored. Complaints to management elicited no concern. Pam the Club manager literally LIED to me regarding motorcycle parking! I'd had enough of the bad attitudes so I switched to the Northshore WAC which has been a GODSEND for the northshore communities. MUCH less expensive too. I'm surprised Le Club is still open, as I see TONS of former members now at the WAC. Hmmm....imagine that! Pros: Outdoor pool Cons: Outdoor pool (kiddie hell, SCREAMING, running, CROWDED!! more

Wrong prices given 3/28/2010

I never joined Le Club as Cheryl, the employee who was in charge of member services, at the time told me that the joining fee for a Junior was $300. I believe she was working to get this $$ for another member who told me about the club. Anyway, I had my sister call to confirm and my sister was told the Junior joining fee was only $50. I decided NOT to join at all as the club is obviously hiring unethical people and I didn't want my child to be around that negativity. more

dangerous childcare, left after 2.5 (member 2005-2008) years because my son was beaing beaten up by childcare employee's kids. No networking, mean management and front desk staff. AWFUL! 10/5/2008

It is unbelieveable to me that a club like this stays open. The management is disrespectful. The childcare is dangerous. You wait 20 minutes to get a sandwhich. Unfriendly front desk people and a mean Fitness director. Sad, really. Pros: Has potential Cons: Horrible management more

Le Club 10/19/2007

As a member for five years I enjoyed some of the staff. I enjoyed members. Yet, the management is terrible and they don't like customers. Management treats customers as if they are invading their space. They do not take care of your needs are combative and don't listen. The childcare staff, most are great. Yet, the director of childcare is awful. Kids are allowed to harm other kids because staff does not watch children properly. Youth locker rooms are horrible. And, there are not enough showers which creates stress among members. You have to wait an hour after you order food. tennis director is inpet. They like to blame the customer rather than fix any problem. Would not recommend facility. Try Elite. Pros: facility has such great potential Cons: management is awful and it creates a tense atmosphere. Chilcare is dangerous more
