I had Doc's tune my skis once and never again. For one spot of P-Tex and a base grind / wax, they charged more than double what you'd pay on the mountain. That would be fine with me if they had done a good job, but they did not de-tune the leading and trailing edges on my skis and did not tell me that they hadn't done it. The end result is that I paid too much money and had a very exciting (in a bad way) first run after that tune up, just so I could get to the lodge and finish (for myself) what Doc's should have done in the first place.
Maybe it was just one lazy tech, but I'll never go to Doc's again.
