If I could I would give them zero stars! I took my car to them because it was closest to wear I live and something serious was wrong with my car. They had it for about a day told me my manifold was leaking and they could fix it right away. I don't know anything about cars so what am I to think. Over three days go by THEN it's ready. Charged an arm and a leg. Four days later my car pretty much blows up again. Long story short another $500 later the original problem is fixed, without any refund of the orignal mistake they made or anything. Took it to my regular guy turns out everything they did was unneccesary. I only hope no one else wastes $1000 in this hard economy on that joke of a shop. more

Dishonest 7/18/2011

This place is a ripoff. Not only they have insane prices but they also told me one price over the phone and when I came to pick up the car the bill was for $100 more! Dont use them, they'll rip you off more

$2,500 and still not fixed 4/21/2011

Took my 1994 cadillac in because of a noise problem. It was coming from a belt and I said I think there is a problem with the air conditioning unit, putting pressure on the belt. They replaced several thing (for about $1,000), then took it in again and another $1,500 (total of $2,500) and the problem still wasn't solved. They then said major oil leak and would cost me over $3,500 (total now would be $6,000), and I said it was from the spray I sprayed on the belt while it was running. They said they would check it again, but they didn't. I think took it to the cadillac dealer, and it was the air conditioning part causing problems with the belt. They also said not an oil leak at all. They fixed it and haven't had a problem since. They had no idea what they were doing, and it always took longer than they said to fix - and they never did fix it. Not very compitent workers there. more

I have been going to Electric Laboratories for probably 10 to 15 years. I have my car serviced there as well as my wife's and my two kids' cars. They do a good job of tracking everything. I do not have to worry about when my next oil change is, it is all on their computer. And, it is a warranty approved shop. They are good guys and they are honest. I trust them to do the work, and that is the hardest thing to find. I feel comfortable with my two daughters going there. I do not have to worry. Paul A Wieda more

Bad service and too long for simple oil change! 5/21/2009

I took my vehicle in for an oil change because they were recommend through my Triple A. I made an appointment for 9AM and was told that it would be finished the same day. I never heard from them, so I called right when they were getting ready to close @ 5:30PM and was told they would not have it finished until 9:30 the next morning! They also said they would call at that time. \r \r I called the next day at 11:30AM because I never heard from them, and I asked to speak to a supervisor. They transferred me to the service department but not to speak with a supervisor. Politely, I explained my frustration. They checked and found that my car was done and ready for pickup. No apoligy for not calling or for taking to long. \r \r I thought the company looked professional, but I guess when you have many customers you don't have to be! more

They found the problem with my vehicle and fixed it within reasonable time. Staff is very polite and friendly, takes time to explain things even not directly related to the problem being fixed.\r Good service, fast, would help if it was a little cheaper. more
