I went to this college 2 1/2 years. Every-time I spoke to someone whether it was for getting prior classes accounted for too getting my financial aid done, it was a complete fight and I had to complain to the dean of students. I live in Austin and went online and had to email to get things done. It is a plus that DCCCD gives a full amount of financial aid like a four year college, the community college in Austin does not but if I had to do it all over again I would not. The financial aid department just ignored me and even shorted me around 500.00 and would not even give me an explanation why. I wrote a rip off report about them. Do not go to this college, these people do not care about the student. Just look on statistics on what the percentage of people graduating from this college are. The graduation rate at El Centro College is only 7%.........The only reason I am giving them one star is because you have to too publish this.
