Great JC! 11/29/2005

Back in my High School years at Redondo I came to elco every summer or so to take classes just for the sake of taking classes, and the professors were great! Now, at UCLA, i really am thankful i did. A majority of my courses involved social sciences, and i can tell you first hand that the professors are well experienced in the field with a passion to teach. Although the campus is a bit 'ghetto' as others have said, its easy to get past. The demographics are a bit suburban and a major annoyance is the air: everybody smokes! more

El Camino 9/26/2005

I'm taking a couple of classes at the El Camino College each semester. It is conveniently located in that it is so close to where I live. The instructors are great. It is the cheapest place to get a college education. And, they have plenty of parking space available in their parking lot and the parking fees are pretty decent. more

great school 7/28/2005

This is one of the greatest community colleges and it's highly affordable. The professors are former business executives and are exemplary educators that you'll remember forever. The school grounds are always clean and nice and the school and athletic facilities are great for the South Bay too. There's lots of red tape at times to get through, but once you do it's completely worth it. Great education at a great price. more

Terrific CC 7/25/2005

One of the Best and most affordable community colleges, not just in the South Bay, but the entire United States. Many of the faculty are former business professionals. The facilities, both academic and athletic, are very good and the location is very convenient for the South Bay. The only con might be, that like most public-run academic facilities, the administrative process is a bit too bureaucratic. more
