I've lived in Texas and California, so I prefer the Mexican food I've had there, but I've learned to appreciate what I can from Utah. This place is convenient to those who live in Kearns, Taylorsville, or even West Jordan where there aren't a lot of choices outside of Jordan Landing.
It's cheap and the food is pretty decent for the price. We're not talking gourmet, but satisfying amounts of food and good prices. Red rice is good, beans taste homemade, enough variety of dishes, but many of them are the standbys most people want (enchiladas, fajitas, chimichanga, burritos, chile verde, etc). Their lunch prices are even cheaper, but I can get dinner from $7.50-$11 a person. For those who care, soda has good fizz.
Service is kind of slow at times, especially when they are busy. Probably not staffed enough, but the waitresses seem friendly enough.
It's your basic interior, and the booths are very old. It can get loud because there are two open dining areas with nothing to soften the noise.
Pros: Convenient, inexpensive
Cons: Sometimes slow service, loud ambience
