El Jarrito just opened a new location on Highland Knolls and Mason which my husband and I tried this past weekend. Compared to Los Cucos and Las Rosas, El Jarrito fell far short. Service was TREMENDOUSLY slow. When we ordered our Fajitas for three they brought TWO tortillas to the table- we then had to wait 10 min. more to get some more brought and then they only brought TWO more! We requested some guac, sour cream and cheese and were told that would be EXTRA at $2.95! (All other Mexican restaurants that I know of include that with the meals- esp. fajitas.) EVERYTHING was extra- what should have been a reasonable meal cost us much more than we had hoped, plus their portions were much smaller than the other restaurants. We were very disappointed and probably will not go back- we'll stick with Los Cucos and Las Rosas (which is sad because they do have a beautiful outdoor dining area.)
