I went to have a crown put on my tooth and paid the $450 or so out of pocket cost (my insurance covered the other $450). A couple months later, the crown came off and when I went in to have it replaced, they blamed the fact that it came out on me, when I wasn't eating anything out of the ordinary (a sandwich). Then they told me that my insurance wouldn't cover the same tooth to be replaced twice. I was shocked that they weren't going to put it back in for free, since it was their crappy work that caused it to fall out in the first place. Dr. Eftekhari then thought she was doing me a favor by only charging half to put the tooth back in, and asked what I wanted to do...well, sitting there without a tooth on a Friday was painful and I didn't want to go through the whole weekend without it, so I reluctantly paid the $450 to have it put back in. A few months later, the tooth came out again. I was extremely irritated and decided not to go back to Dr. Eftekhari's again, knowing she would try and rip me off again. I went to another dentist who replaced the tooth and told me it should never have come out and it was seated wrong. It only cost me $50 out of pocket with my new dentist, and has been fine ever since (over a year).
