I was looking for a reasonable price place to go get my hair braided and I found Edith.. Biggest mistake ever! She does hair out of her apartment in a community that is a step down from projects.her home is NASTY!!! Roaches crawling over everything. and aside from the conditions of her place the biggest problem is her service. she will having u waiting for a long time and the entire time she is doing your hair, she is huffing and puffing like she doesn't even want to be doing hair. she is not a pleasant person a all. She acts like and makes you feel like your are just another head that is paying.... I went to Edith back when she had a hair braiding shop and I stopped going to her due to her service and I was shocked when I ended up at her apartment after finding her online! I had no idea that she was the same Edith that did my hair before in her shop. And if I weren't in an last minute type of situation, I would have turned right back around and left when I saw her answer the door. Like a fool, I stayed bcuz of her low price. She had my hair braided in two different sizes in the front and when I asked her to fix them, she huffed and puffed the e entire time she redid them. Then by the time I made it home, I had braids already falling out. I called Edith and she told me that she would put them back in the next morning. So I called her the first thing the next morning and after three unanswered calls, she finally answered her phone and then informed me that she had to o somewhere and her sister would be doing my hair....
I know this is a long review but I felt compelled to warn people abt this woman. The price ,ight sound good but the service Nd quality of work, sucks!!!
