Ed McKays

If you love to read as much as I do, you must try Ed Mackays! I would go broke if I had to pay full price for all the books I read and want to keep. Ed Mackays is an affordable solution to my addiction. I can usually find bags full of books to take home to last me for another week or two. Ed Mackays sells mainly used paper back books, some hard backed books, games, movies, and cds. So my husband can go and find cds and games, while I browse the books. And they will purchase used books, games, movies, cds for store credit. The staff is usually helpful and knowledgeable. For book lovers, this is the place to be. more

Ed McKays is one of the places I frequent at least once a month. I absolutely love the way they take your books and give you credit for them, and then you turn around and get new books with the credit. I have been using this system for years now, an have not bought a book with actual cash! The store is very eclectic and the staff are definitely unique to say the least. They have movies, DVDs, music (some really weird and different music), kid's books, and lots of books for grownups. I usually walk out with an armful of books. If you are doing some spring cleaning and have a bunch of books, just box them up and head to Ed McKays to drop them off at the desk. Usually within 15 minutes they are finished and they will set the books they did not want on the counter beside your hot pink credit sheet. SO easy. So fun. I get to read for free! more
