Color me surpised to see even one mixed review of EATS Market Cafe! This place is a lovely little gem tucked very surprisingly into Westwood Village Shopping Center in West Seatt...

Worst

I wouldn't eat breakfast there again, not because that the food was bad but because the price was way too high for what you get. I did the scrambled eggs with, sausage, cheese,...

Good spot for lunch in growing Westwood Village 8/19/2005

I visited this café for lunch after reading a review in the paper. I was excited to have a place to eat near Westwood Village which is the closet shopping area to my house. I was quite pleased with my hot turkey sandwich and would definitely get that menu item again. I expected the cookies and desserts to be more plentiful, but they look good nonetheless. My only complaint is the atmosphere/decor. I would work on getting cuter or funkier looking tables and chairs - the current look is very boring. more

Not what I expected at all. 7/14/2005

When attending this place for my first time I had low expectations despite the oddly charming look of it. Typically ANY place thrown into the Westwood Village I would set low expectations on.. HOWEVER.. Eats Market Cafe blew me away. Surprisingly original. Great fresh foods. Nice ambiance. It wasnt very expensive and the food was great! I would go here for lunch for something different. If you live in West Seattle you know that a good restaurant is hard to come by. I hope Eats Market Cafe sticks around for a while. I know WL Villiage has been really tearing things up over there for some time... and yet it seems like mostly the same old businesses remain. more
