Best Omlette Breakfast in Town 11/29/2010

This great little Cafe off the strip of shops and Resturants in West Seattle's famous California Avenue is my favorite breakfast spot in the entire King County and Seattle area. I always order the Hank Williams Omlette which comes with hashbrowns and a side of two pieces of toast with assorted jams. Always Fresh, taste Fantastic and cooked light and fluff to perfection just the way I like it! The waitresses always smile are very fast polite, courteous and remember me and have even made big efforts to get me a seat when the Cafe is full and there is a waiting list. Great Chefs indeed and I must mention a very low price. Lowest I have found for breakfast with a huge quality all the way around. Thank you so much Easy Street Cafe.\r Sincerely,\r Bryan Stewart\r of West Seattle more

One of the Best! 6/15/2010

This place rules. Nice staff, AMAZING priced records, and great selection (if you don't have shitty taste in music). Hours are convenient, I always feel welcome to come in. Pros: Selection, low price$ on most items, convenience Cons: loud rap music ruins ambience...rock on! more

Great West Seattle Breakfast or Lunch 6/13/2010

You will feel like you are in the movie ""Singles"" as you eat your breakfast or lunch here at a very hip record store with rock music and the pink haired, tattooed, music-saavy wait staff providing the atmosphere! Great food with a rock and roll theme -- whether you try the Horton Heat Hash or the James Browns (hash browns), you can't go wrong. For lunch, try the Green Day salad or the Lou Reed Reuben -- yummy! Pros: Great Seattle ""grunge"" vibe -- rock music, great eggs Cons: you will be tempted to buy music after your meal? more

2 Cool 4 School 3/19/2008

The employees in the store think they're too cool to be bothered and the wait staff don't even bother to check up on you. A wicked combination which makes a return trip unlikely. The food was about average. Perhaps these kids were too cool for school. Pros: Atmosphere Cons: Service more

Rock and Roll for LIFE! 12/21/2006

I moved to Phoenix from Seattle one year ago and am still in search of an Easy Street Record style shop down here in the desert. The energy, superb customer assistance and awesome selection lured me in to Easy Street Records every time i had $100 to drop on tunes. They have a second-hand CD section upstairs that always has the album i need to complete my collection. I am such a fan of Easy Street Records, I slapped their sticker on the back of my Subaru for all the west to see! Thanks Easy Street! Pros: Seattle embiance, diverse customer base more

Search for records, have breakfast and finish it off with one of Seattle's best lattes 12/7/2006

Seriously, this place suits a lot of needs. Breakfast on the weekends is worth the wait and the servers move a mile-a-minute to make sure everyone gets their food. Drip coffee is good but the baristas there are one of the best kept secrets in the city - I've never been disappointed. Music in the background is often rich with inspiration in the sort of counter-culture way you would expect from a record store/breakfast place and you should definitely add chorizo to any dish they suggest it for. Although it is mostly cds, records (new and used) still make up most of the upstairs for those people who are still diggin'. Like I was saying, it's one stop shoppin'. Pros: Great Breakfast, Good Music and Wonderful Wait Staff Cons: You are going to have to wait on Sunday, morning no matter what more

Great place...to buy music 8/21/2006

If you're an avid music lover, the selection here is better, and a bit less expensive than other record stores in the greater seattle area. I Drive from Renton to shop here exclusively and am never emptyhanded after a trip to Easy Street. Space is limited and the food was less than satisfactory. If you want an obscure jazz, punk, blues, or that ""#1"" record, this is your destination. Pros: Selection, In-Store Music, Location Cons: Loud, Cramped, Scrambled Eggs more

This store needs to learn customer service. 11/15/2005

Please go to another more customer focused record store - these people are jerks. They all think they are too cool and won't help you find the selection you are looking for. There are so many other places that aren't posers like Easystreet - save your time and money and go to any other store than this one. Cons: Rude staff, No Customer Service, High Prices more
