Always very clean, which is important to me.\r \r Free Classes - Kickboxing, Pilates, Yoga, Spin and on and on.\r \r And to top it off you can join for under $490 if you are under 25, which I am. And my girlfriend is 27 and she got a membership for around $750! Amazing compared to the competition. more

i've been a member of this club for nearly 6 months. its ran like a deli. the space is nice, high ceilings, decent equipment although a bit old and outdated. the main problem is the hygiene: - the towels are old and stinky. Most of them are yellowish (used to be white). - they don't provide any dispensable towels or spray for members to clean up the equipment after use. members use the sweat towels to clean the equipment which is grosse. Worst of all: their stated opening hours include the time they clean up the gym. You may find yourself jogging on a trendmill while the cleaning staff is washing the floor around you, inhaling the very strong floor detergent. And to top it all off: their management is non-existent. When I asked to get a hold of the general manager of the club I faced resistance by the staff. When I was able to get a hold of the man -- he was totally dismissive of our complaints and wouldn't take a phone call with us. We were offended. My wife and I left the club as a result. This is no way to treat members that pay $100 a month for membership! There are much better options in Tribeca than this. Pros: high ceilings. quiet. Cons: poor hygeine. Unprofessional Management.
