Woof Woof - East Orange Dogtrack 11/2/2008

Greenskeeping Crew is a joke - this place is horrible. Pro Shop is a half-way house for Essex County criminals where you receive Central Booking treatment. You cannot bring your own bottled water - you must purchase their's, and the 2 fountain's on the course are not potable. I was turned down when asked to use air hose to inflate my pull cart. Only thing happening here is the 19th hole - Johnny's on the Green. more

perfect for beginner...or me! 8/21/2005

I actually enjoy playing on this golf course. Evertime i go there, it seems to be not a lot of people playing on the course. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. I guess they have to since you are paying so much money to play on the course. Anyway, the course is nicely maintained and the difficulty is just right for me. But I am a beginner at golf...so maybe I don't really know what's consider a good golf course yet. more

Easy to play, not very challenging but pricey! 8/21/2005

East Orange Golf Club really doesn't have that much going for it, sad to say. At $30 a pop, you get only one through, not all you can play. The greens are not that challenging at all, very easy to play. The maintenance guys don't really keep the courses neat and orderly either. The Clubhouse's prices are rather on the high side and it doesn't pay to rent clubs there either. Of course, given all that, its no wonder how easy it is to get a prime tee time! more

Easy golf but only ok place 8/5/2005

It's really too expensive for what it is. It's almost $30 for nine holes. I'm not sure I'd pay that price if it was all you can play. And their are no challenges. And being that it's not generally well kept, this course doesn't really have much going for it. The only good thing I can say is that it is really easy to get a tee time. more
