great value, food is usually fresh 2/18/2007

My husband and I happened to stumble upon this place by accident. We were lost and hungry and saw a sign for a buffet so we decided to check it out. It was Sunday night and we got a table right away. There was a lot of food to choose from and the thing I liked the most is that it seemed fresh, it didn't have that overcooked feel that so much buffet food has from sitting around. They even had fresh crab legs, although there was usually a small line to get them and they were always gone within 2 minutes (a new batch was brought out about every 5-10 minutes). We were very impressed and worried about the cost (we hadn't seen anything about the cost when we came in), but the bill only came to a little over $30. more

good price for the amount and quality of food 4/5/2006

I think this is the best chinese buffet in san diego. If you like to eat, and you like seafood, this place is perfect. Large selection of food includes a sushi bar, grilling type station where you can get them to cook your food, a lot of fruit, chinese desserts and chinese food which includes a lot of seafood items such as crab legs, shrimp, fish. On weeknights, mon-thurs, they also feature a hot pot for about 2 dollars more per person. The price is very reasonable, about 11.99 per person. Definitely recommend. more

mainland 10/6/2005

the food is pretty good there. What i liked most is that they had alot of variety in what they serve, and what they serve is worth the price. They serve exotic mainland dishes such as frog legs, lamb, etc. They also have a great variety of sushi like caterpillar rolls, pizza rolls, etc. The only thing that they needa work on are desserts. The desserts are like eggtarts, sweet chinese rolls, cookies, ice cream, etc. more

Good stuffs! 8/4/2005

You'll find this another one of those typical Chinese/Japanese buffets. They have pretty much everything from soups to mussels to sushi. The price is similar to other buffets. The only thing that makes this place different from others was that you can actually get some raw foods and bring them to the chef to cook right on the spot for you. Other than that, I don't see anything special about this place, and yeah, expect a really long line if you come on the weekends or even during for lunch and dinner on weekdays. more

bang for your buck 7/24/2005

At 11 dollars for a Chinese Buffet dinner, you don't get any better than this. There seems to be almost an endless amount of item possibilies and you can even get stir fry here (done right in front of your face with a wok). If you sushi is your thing, although it's not even chinese, you can get it here as well. But beware, if you arn't ready to wait at least half an hour for a table, don't even consider coming here. It's always crowded but thats the price you must pay for a bargain. more
