A must for any sports fan! 9/18/2005

Obviously good for watching the big games but a lot less crowded and less expensive during lunch and weekdays. The kids (and I) enjoy playing the games and you can get twice as many points for the same price if you go during their happy hour. Pros: Food for everyone, TVs everywhere!, Lunch menu Cons: Too much going on more

Not too bad....if you got money. 9/10/2005

A fun place but too pricey on ...EVERYTHING! Lets go to LODO for better sport bars with much much cheaper price. Pros: You've been here once, So you know, you wont, com back Cons: overpriced, overpriced, overpriced more

ESPN Zoink 8/24/2004

This place does for sports bars what disco did for music. Overpriced, overhyped, it is definitely not a place to go watch a game. There are plenty other places downtown that are cheaper and better for watching the game. Cons: , prices, prices more

sports, games, scenery... 5/11/2004

I have no idea what the below ""not recommendeds"" are all about but those are as far from the truth as you can possibly get. I've been going to ESPN Zone since it opened in '01 and I have not been disappointed once. Was there with a friend and her two kids, no problems. Been there with a few of my underage friends, and no problems either. the Staff is awesome, food is great and it's one of the best places to watch the game. The Sports Arena is always a lot of fun. I especially like the miniature bowling alley. Sure it's a bit expensive, but it's worth it. Pros: $3 garage in area, great waitstaff, beautiful people Cons: expensive drinks, expensive games more

If You Like Thugs........ 12/28/2003

My wife and five kids were recently enjoying a night here, when the management stepped up and showed their distaste for children, rudeness and lack of intelligence in problem resolution. The drinks are very expensive. The service is very poor. The games are not a bargain needless to say. Mty family has never been treated this horribly anywhere or at anytime than at this unfriendly dump. I suggest D&B's or Red & Jerry's before spending a dime at this kid hating hole. Cons: rudeness, expensive, poor service more

don't bother 8/1/2003

the food and drinks are overpriced, its loud and the service is horrible more

Great food, fun & service - Honest! 2/13/2003

Totally fun, enjoyable experience all around. My girlfriend loved her apple walnut blue cheese salad (HUGE) and my ribs were tremendous. Service was top notch...right pace, really friendly but not too fake and in your face. Squeezed in some fun on the racing games before we had to run to our movie. Will definitely be back. more

Excellent with some cons 2/7/2003

ESPN Zone provides a good atmosphere to watch and holler for your sports teams. Staff was plenty helpful and friendly. My only complaint was it cost my buddy and I $25 for two beer and 15 hot wings. That is like $5 per beer, and a $1 per hot wing. Pros: Atmosphere, Service, TV Screens Everywhere Cons: Price, Price, Price more

The Tickets Are Cheaper! 1/26/2003

I've been in this thing twice, the food is very limited, the prices are the highest in Denver bar none, and it generally is cheaper actually going to the game. Add paying for parking in the Tabor center, and I'm not going back. Pros: Trendy Cons: parking, food selection, price more

Pricey! 1/18/2003

Great place to watch a game, but bring your Visa. It little pricey for the bar food you get. It is still a cool place! more

THE BEST BY FAR! 1/17/2003

ESPN Zone has the right amount of everything! Fun, games, food, drinks, and of course, SPORTS!! What a great place! Pros: TV'S, GAMES, ATMOSPHERE Cons: FOOD, RANCH DRESSING more

Ugly Big Screen!!!! 1/10/2003

Ive wanted to write about this for some time. ESPN SPORTSZONE is a nice concept but it is not the bomb that its purported to be. 1. The big screen is one of the worst Ive seen. (Almost like the late 70s) 2. Food ok, (just ok) but you cannot see the menu 3. The service is 3rd rate. A much better LARGE bar is Champps. Much better. Pros: location, concept, games Cons: Big Screen, Service, Service more

espen NO! 12/27/2002

sure, they have a million tv's a lots of cool games but you had better bring your check book if you want to watch a game here. the drinks are certainly overpriced and the food is not that good. the zone is for tourists. if you want to just watch a game and not go broke go to any of the bars near coors field for a better atmosphere and bargains. Pros: lots of tv's, cool games, location Cons: too pricey, food is average, too many youngin's more

Got Money? 12/8/2002

This is not just a bar but an interactive zoo. It will cost no less then 8 bucks for french fries. You will want to bring a lot of money. more

Name sake not enough! not number one 11/15/2002

With everything over priced and slower service the Bryan Griese on the run, I can't believe folks would pick this as number one. Try this test. Next time your there try to get the game on any tv that it is not on. GOOD LUCK. It won't happen. Your a touristy arcade. deal with it. Pros: good food, tv in bathroom Cons: service, cost, actual games played more

Good, but not great 11/14/2002

Okay, they hired the staff based on proficiency and not on looks, that works for me. The food sucks, but when I watch sports alls I want is beer and that they got right. The games are pretty cool, but overpriced. And what the hell is up with their lack of dedication to playing the Avalanche games? I mean so what if it's the beginning of the season and college football is ""more important?"" We're in Denver and should support the greatest local team as much as possible. If you're headed there for the playoffs or Monday NIght Football, go early because it gets mighty crowded, really fast. Pros: Good Waitstaff, Every sport u want, Bubble Hockey Cons: Price, No Foosball more

this bar is too expensive 10/4/2002

Although this bar has a ton of tv's set up in a great, war-room type configuration, the drinks and foo are entirely too expensive. Pros: games, games, games Cons: expensive, expensive, expensive more

best spot to watch one game 9/20/2002

Food is definitely above average. Nachos are great and the carrot cake is to die for! The best part is the huge non-smoking viewing area. Pros: non-smoking section, theater-like screen, food Cons: short-term parking more
