Dynax exclusively produces automatic transmission disks for Ford, GM, Toyota, and Honda using Heat & pressure processes. They rely heavily on thier parent company Dynax Japan for engineering support, product design, machine design, and raw materials and very little traditional design engineering is done in the US. As a result, a management sweep was done several years ago (resulting in lawsuits) putting all higher positions including directors, engineering supervision and even the President with Japanese. Poor employee relations resulted and almost every American office job at Dynax has been revolved at leasat once in the past years. Also due to inconsistancies in Technical and Quality staffing, thier product line has shown weaknesses resulting in a sharp decrease in business restricting the company from producing a profit from June - Nov 08. Normally ran on 3 shifts of at least 50% temporary employees, they are now usually running 1 or 2 shiifts per day at 40% capaciity and are in long-term risk of closing. Due to thier current financial crisis they have also slacked on OSHA and EPA regulations and are in constant violation making it an extremely dangerous place to work. Examples of this are missing/broken safety sensors, high pressure hoses with no operator guards, burn risks, high methanol emissions, leaking costic tanks, & leaking waste water tanks.
