Dusty Bookshelf provides wide variety for bookworms 9/25/2005

As I walked into the Dusty Bookshelf, I was so amazed by the quantity of books that I almost tripped over their adorable cat. He stared up at me out of his keen eyes like i had disturbed his purrrr-fect dream or somthing. Any way, there are lots of great book in good condition for cheap prices. Lots of different subjects, but all nicely aranged into catagories of shelves or authors. Awsome place, you need to check it out!!! more

Good Reads 9/15/2005

The Dusty Bookshelf is a second hand bookstore located in downtown Lawrence. The Dusty Bookshelf is usually kept clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. The problem with The Dusty Bookshelf is that the prices tend to be quite high, especially when compared to other local second hand bookstores. more

Good for my needs 8/6/2005

I'm a high school student, and I find the Dusty Bookshelf to be quite adequet to having my book needs. I don't have the greatest job, being a high school student, so finding books used helps. Compared to other bookstores like Hasting's, the Dusty Bookshelf is much cheaper and more of my kind of place. The staff is friendly and it's easy to get around. Highly recommended. more

A great, local bookstore! 6/19/2005

This bookstore is unique and they have quite a large selection for being a local store! The staff are helpful and recommend other books to read! A great place to spend a few hours browsing for gifts and something special for yourself! There books are usally the same prices as the market price, so they aren't that good of deal. more
