If I had I were forced to eat at one of the two Thai places a few doors down from each other on this cuisine rich stretch of Mission, I’d do Dusit. What scenario would force me into such a position, I’m not sure. Jasmine Tea House is right in the middle of the two, such a better restaurant and cheaper to boot. If you’re stuck on the idea of Thai, one of the best anywhere is only a few blocks away down Valencia at Suryat Thai. In a city of remarkable Thai food, this reminds me of “good thai food” you might get in Florida. You know, pretty good. But in SF? You’re settling for that? I say I recommend it over Pad Thai because I seem to remember liking it better the few times I’ve eaten there. But obviously, this isn’t the most resounding endorsement.
