Nice interior, international menu 1/16/2007

I've never seen such an exotic menu. Foods from literally every country. The food is pretty good, service OK, but atmosphere wonderfully diverse. Even the waiters seemed to hail from every country on earth. I'll be back. more

My Favorite Tea Place 2/20/2006

My kids took me to he Dushanbe for Mother's day and it was the best day ever!! I have the worst (or the best, depending on your perspective) sweet tooth and this place did not disappoint! The pastries were so yummy and the presentation was marvelous! Served on a three-tiered plate, they were almost too pretty to eat. Almost, but not quite! The variety was large and everything was delicious. The tea was also served piping hot by conscientious staff and the cloth tablecloths and napkins are an elegant touch. The place is generally quite busy and you can see why! more

a Gem! 12/17/2005

The Dushanbe Tea House is a must for visitors to Boulder. It offers a diverse menu inspired by foods from Asia, one of the broadest tea menus in Boulder, and an intoxicating setting. The story of the teahouse itself is intriguing and the atmosphere inside mirrors it's origin. Seating options include streamside in fair weather, regular table seating, or corner high tables where you remove your shoes and sit amongst throw cushions. Great Chai 10/6/2005

I went to the teahouse for the first time the other day. Although I had passed by it and had been told that it was wonderful, I had never gone. I must say - it's beautiful inside - it's worth going just to see it! That aside, they also have the BEST chai I've ever had, hands down. It's not terribly expensive, and comes with one free refill. If you like chai, give it a try - it's wonderful! more

Tea at the Tea House 9/23/2005

The Tea House is an amazing piece of art work. From the beautiful colors to the intricate carvings the Tea House is a treasure. If you enjoy Chai, then you will have to try it here. The Chai is rich and flavorful without being overpowering. The appetizers are very good, I enjoy ordering a few different appetizers and my Chai and having a lovely tea with my friends. The Tea House also does a English Tea, just be sure to call st least a day in advance to make a reservation. Have Fun! more

International Gem in Boulder 7/16/2005

This teahouse is a treasure. There are teas from around the world and delicious soups and noodle dishes. On one of Boulder's many gorgeous afternoons, sit creekside and enjoy tea with the sound of the water in the background. Service is excellent. But the standout feature is the teahouse itself. This is a must-see for any visitor to Boulder, and don't miss their annual teddy bear tea party for children! more

Tea & more 6/28/2005

The unique part of this restaurant is not only it's great food, but the design of the Tea House. This certain restaurant was designed by Boulder's sister city in India, Dushanbe, making for an artistic and unique style. The food is very Boulder-esque, but good. It's better to go for dinner, as they don't have a wide variety of food for lunch, however, their wide selection of teas can make for a great afternoon tea. more
