When I moved to Portland, I learned about Dr. Hall from a Portland native who has been seeing him since childhood. It was a great recommendation. The technician who cleaned my teeth was very knowledgeable about the science behind dentistry and had some great tips for me. Dr. Hall is definitely a conservative dentist. He doesn't disturb a tooth until it is necessary. They didn't try to convince me to replace all my fillings with a new amalgam, or get my (pretty darn white) teeth whitened like other dentists that I've visited.
