Great Chiropractor, great guy! 9/28/2011

Dr. Peters is the first chiropractor I've ever been to, and my journey with back, neck, posture, and overall health couldn't have started on a better note. The good vibes greeted me at the door. The entrance and waiting area were always clean, elegant, and the receptionists are always smiling and welcoming. I particularly liked that they had me fill out a short survey before beginning each session, making sure my progress/worsening condition was being accurately documented. When finally on the table, Dr. Peters does a thorough job. He takes his time and feels out your back, he doesn't merely go through a routine of steps, stretches and crackings. He figures out what you need, talks you through what you need to or want to know, and does a great job working the tissue in the required way. I am definitely going back, and already recommend him to anyone complaining of even minor neck, shoulder, or back soreness. more

Great Service 5/31/2011

While visiting Charlotte for business, I developed serious back spams. I Googled chiropractors in Charlotte and came across Dr. Peters. Thank God he was able to take me in right away. He worked out all the trigger points and by the next morning I was more than functional. I went for a follow up apt in Raleigh where I live and even they said he did a great job. Dr. Peters will be my regular when I visit Charlotte more

A wholistic practitioner who cares about our well being 5/9/2011

Dr. Tony Peters, aka Dr. P, is the real deal. Not only does he use a more ""eastern form of manipulation"" (read: less snapping & twisting and more body manipulation), but he also seems to intrinsically ""sense"" exactly the problem you're having. He's taken me from severe pain to supreme peace...in just a number of weeks. Whether you need a minor adjustment, a body cleanse and/or foot detox, or even deep tissue massage and acupuncture, you can get it ALL on South Blvd, next to Healthy Home Market. Okay, as you can see, I'm a big fan. Lastly, don't let the ""high fashion"" digs of other places draw you in (there's a reason they're so expensive), but instead let Dr. P's laid-back, nearly zen approach put you at ease. You won't be sorry! more

Just Fantastic 1/31/2011

Years of having my lower disc popping out and sending me into weeks of walking hunched over......is now over. I was luck to find Dr. Tony Peters from a Google search and saw the reviews here on City Search. Recommendation after recommendation with everyone stating how good Tony was I just had to see him. Got in within two hours of calling and Tony spend a good hour working me over. Found knots that I didn't even know were existent, and was extremely thorough in his approach to my problem. He even followed up with a call on Saturday asking me how I felt. I feel fantastic now and heading back tomorrow to see Tony for some more tweaking of my muscles. Great price as well.... Scott more

Great Service Great Results 1/7/2011

Dr. Tony is a must ""go see"" if you are experiencing pain in your back, neck or other problem areas. He listens and tailors his treatment to your needs. Six months ago, I had constant back and neck pain. I had tried physical therapy and pain medication with no positive results. Today, I have increased mobility and little pain. I highly recommend Dr. Tony and his staff! more

Love the Men's Yoga Class! 11/18/2010

Kimbery is a fantastic yoga instructor! Her Tuesday class at Dr Peters' is perfect for men that are interested in trying yoga but are reluctant to join a class of advanced contortionists. As someone still at a novice-level I find the class challenging but reasonable - I leave feeling good, not broken. more

Charlotte's Best Chiropractor 11/1/2010

Physical well-being is the foundation of a good and happy life. Dr. Peters has the tools and knowledge to help build and sustain the foudation necessary for such solitude. His intelligence, experience, and office assistance combine to make the most enjoyable chiropractic experiences in the region. more

Relief! 8/12/2010

I had sudden, severe lower back pain and Dr. Peters was highly recommended by one of the leasing agents at my apartment complex. I got immediate relief after the first visit. Dr Peters not only helped me with the acute back pain, but is now helping me to get relief from lower back pain that I have had for years and years. His office is cozy and peaceful and his receptionist, Emily is very friendly and personable. I've felt confident and comfortable going here from day one, and am happy to say my back pain is better than it's been in years! more

I`m a Patient 7/23/2010

I was having much pressure in my neck. When I first walked into his office I was treated like I was the first patient he ever had. The receptionist was (and still) friendly. and Dr Peters always asks me how am I doing? do I feel progress? and any questions pertaining to my spine, back and neck. As a matter of fact he cracked my neck maybe after the 2nd visit to get me used to seeing a Chiropractor. He did not just rush in and start punching on me the the first few visits. and I am so glad of that! I referred a Friend and now he and his family are going to see Dr Peters. He does the adjusting..God Does The Healing!! Pros: Very Peresonal/takes his time Cons: NO complaints! more

True Health in Charlotte 7/12/2010

Dr. Tony's Chiropractic ""office"" is like none I have ever been to before! He has an incredible way of being able to connect with each and every patient and has a philosophy of being present as he spends time with all of his clients. Written right on the wall is an affirmation that whoever he helps will express optimal health and functioning! This mission is part of a bigger mission to see a healthier Charlotte and world! I love it here, it is calm, comfortable and like no place you have ever been! If you have no gone to see Dr. Peters, what are you waiting for!? Pros: Location, down-to-earth more

Best Chiro in Charlotte! 7/9/2010

I've visited a few chiros but Dr. Peters is no traditional chiropractor. He rarely adjusts with the same old method - his approach is not only to adjust but to also work out knots in the muscles that surround the affected area. You would not believe how well it works!!! I've recommended him to all of my friends - go, go, go!! Pros: quick relief and holistic approach more

real holistic chiropractic 7/8/2010

Cafe of Life- er- Dr. Tony Peters Chiropractic and Acupuncture (what a mouthful of words!) is, seriously, the best chiropractor I've ever used, and definitely worth my copay. As a previous reviewer stated, Dr. Tony takes his time with each patient, and doesn't just crack your back and send you on your way like the chiropractors I've used before. In addition to muscle work that he does before getting to your back and spine issues, and the standard chiro work, Tony has a physical therapy area to help with realignment and balance. I've even gotten acupuncture before, despite not liking needles, and I didn't blow up or anything! I actually felt better after the acupuncture. Amazing! Dr. Peters (Tony to his better customers) also lets several licensed massage therapists work out of his office, whether you want deep tissue or therapeutic. Pros: full service holistic spinal and muscle care Cons: Pat is no longer there more

Definitely NOT your ""rack-em-and-crack-em"" chiropractor 6/3/2010

I've lived in many different places and been to many chiropractors and I am always disheartened when I go for my first visit to find a room full of people being filtered into a conveyor belt of services--tick, tock--move em in and move 'em out. The time actually spent with hands on treatment that amounts to a series of predictable and startling adjustments can be clocked at less than 3 minutes. YOU WILL NOT EXPERIENCE THAT with Tony Peters--he is a warm, very friendly and compassionate practitioner who ,is completely focused on who's in front of him, and he takes his time. He loves his music which fills the open, daylight filled space he works in and he makes everyone feel as welcome as an old friend . And the technique he uses to work out those microscopic trigger points is incredibly effective--I don't know how he finds them.... After my first session with him, I couldn't believe I had so many spots--my body was buzzing ...I really needed that! Don't hesitate to go to see him. Pros: Never feel rushed; warm friendly atmosphere more

Great care in a great place 3/2/2010

Can't say enough about our positive family experience with Dr. Peters and his staff. Major improvement all around. Love to visit..feels tranquil like a spa environment. A must visit. Holistic care not the crack and go your find with maximized living corrective care chiro's. Pros: Great vibe more

Haven't Felt This Good In Years! 2/22/2010

My colleague presented me with a Nimmo massage gift certficate to Dr. Peters, and I was, and continue to be very pleasantly surprised and satisfied with the results. I had been experiencing pain in the neck and shoulder region for years (I like most, carry all of my stress there) and my treatment results have not been fleeting; there is continuous improvement. Unlike other chiropractors whose ""one-size-fits-all"" manual adjustments create temporary relief, Dr. Peters' approach is multi-faceted and suited to fit his clients' needs. Thank you! more

Can't beat Dr. P 5/28/2009

After not having much luck finding a good chiropractor in Charlotte and the Ballantyne area, I finally scored with Dr. Tony Peters. If you're looking for a quick snap, crackle and pop, then Dr. Peters isn't for you. I have disc problems in my lower back but like to stay pretty active with golf and basketball. Unfortunately, I have been limited at times with my mobility and flexibility in recent years. However, Dr. Peters has isolated my problem, gotten down to the root of my pain and helped me stay active with very little discomfort. I definitely recommend Dr. Peters and think he is no doubt, the best in town! Pros: Finally!!!! A real AND good chiropracter in CLT. Cons: Wish he were in Ballantyne more

A Chiropractor you can trust 5/27/2009

When it comes to chiropractic care, Dr. Tony Peters is the best in town. As a fellow health care practitioner with a reputation of over 6 years of work, Tony is the only chiropractic physician I refer my clients to. His ability to achieve results and work with precision is above the rest. Not only that, but his reputation for honesty, compassion, and knowledge of the work exceed him. If you looking for quality chiropractor, look no further than Tony Peters! Pros: Best Chiropractor in town! more

Loved it, but man 30% increase?!? 11/17/2008

After trying a massage at Dr. Peter's location I was thoroughly happy after branching out from my massage therapist of three years. I am very picky about my massage therapist. I paid the $49 for the deep tissue session. Erica was my therapist and I have no complaints whatsoever with the service received. I tipped $20 at my usual rate. Pros: I couldn't complain at all about the service. On time, organized, prepared. Cons: The price is too high more

Personable Holistic Caring Chiropractor 8/21/2008

I had gone to previous chiropractors and was skeptical of their care. A friend of mine who is a massage therapist recommended Dr. Peters to me saying he was very holistic. That was the primary issue with the previous chiropractors who seemed more into manipulations and physical therapy like treatments. I also went to physical therapy which is limited in what it can achieve. I had serious lower back pain from a recent injury that aggravated a previous hip and knee pain from which I needed serious relief as it was chronic. I went to Dr. Peters and was immediately impressed with how personable he was and caring about my ailments. He took the time to fully assess my condition and recommended a treatment plan to let me know what to expect. His combination of care practices goes beyond just chiropractic and effectively treats your body as a whole. After being in his care for four months along with other types of therapy my pain has been greatly reduced and I feel practically whole again! He also recommends other types of therapies in conjunction to his practice that were helpful too. I highly recommend Dr. Peters as a chiropractor who goes beyond just the normal chiropractic care and who strives to keep current with the latest therapies out there. Pros: Holistic, Caring, Personable, Knowledgeable more

Caring, compassionate, honest and excellent 6/17/2008

If there's a way to describe Dr. Peters, it's all those above. Dr. Peters takes time to 1) listen, 2) develop a systematic approach, 3) apply that approach and 4) care about your well being beyond pain. He constantly is up to date on the latest approaches. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Peters and would send my family to him without any reservation because there's no doubt he would take excellent care of them all. If you need a chiropractor, do not hesitate to visit Dr. Peters' office. Pros: Great doctor, excellent care Cons: none...he's worth $10 per gallon gas to go see. more
