Dr. Arm delivered my son 8 years ago, and I thought he was a very caring physician. He was highly recommended to me by friends. I liked him so much that I went to him even though my insurance changed and I had to go "out of network" and pay more than half of his fees myself. He took his time with me and wasn't an alarmist. .I didn't care for the receptionist, who is his wife, though. She seemed very nosy and I didn't trust her.
However, I was allowed to go 10 days past due and my son had breathing problems when he was born, and I'm wondering that if I was induced and monitored better , maybe he wouldn't have the disabilities he has today. I was never sent for any tests except for one ultrasound. When I got pregnant with my second child, I found out through my new OB/GYN that I have some problems that could cause problems with the pregnancy and had to go through tons of tests, but that child is fine. Maybe he should have sent me for tests.
I recently was doing background checks on doctors to see if any that I ever went to got in trouble for anything, and I found that Dr. Arm's license was taken away for a 2 year period and he was fined because he falsified records! He's practicing again now, but go to him at your own risk. I would never trust him again.
