I have now been covered by them for 5 months and my plan with Mercury is still incorrect. I'm not sure whether it is their incompetence or Mercury's, but a simple typo they made on my application caused my policy to be put on hold. Then, when they went to reinstate my policy, they forgot to renew my direct withdrawal, which then caused the policy to again be put on hold. Each time there was an issue, you would think Donaldson would call to alert me to the issue rather than having to receive a threatening letter from Mercury and then having to call Donaldson myself. Also, each time the problem Donaldson created was fixed, I had to pay extra for it. I previously had Allstate for 9 years and never had a problem. I will definitely be looking elsewhere at the end of this 6 month period.
