I really hate this Dominicks. It's not far from my house, so I go there now and when. The service is the worst I have ever experienced (except of a couple of cashiers). We wanted to buy a bottle of wine, and my husband was paying. They asked me for ID!!! I told them that I am not going to show it to them since I am not paying. The underaged cashier started screaming that I am nobody to set the rules and that the cashiers and customers are equal, and that customers are not always right. :-O We just left the store. I thought about talking to her manager, but decided that it's more trouble when it's worse. I also saw a Mexican guy trying to buy some beer. They wouldn't sell it to him because he didn't have an American ID. :-O The cashier screamed so loud, that the guy just left looking very humiliated. I wanted to buy this beer for him, but he walked out too fast. I also needed something at the customer service. The lady started doing what I asked her to do, but she needed more info. While I was calling for this info, the clock turned 8pm. The lady told me that she can't help me because the customer service closes at 8. :-O
I don't know whether the employees are underpaid there, have some union, or something else. Whatever it is, this store is the worst. Considering that there are many stores around with the lower prices, f... them.
