I've been to quite a few salons over the past 20 some years and I can say without a doubt, this salon is the BEST I've ever been to. I called to schedule my apt and they were able to see me the very next day(without making me feel that they were doing me a favor by accomodating my schedule). Ric cut my hair and he was absolutely WONDERFUL. He was personable, very funny and attentive. Although he has 18 years of experience, he made me feel like a special customer and wanted me to be happy with the results. He obviously enjoys what he does very much. Ric is more knowledgeable any hairdresser I've been to. more

Go see Karen Prince!! 8/18/2005

I would definitely recommend Dobel and I especially recommend going to see Karen. I am a long-time client of Karen and I can't say enough good things about her! I never know how I want my hair colored/cut so I always leave it up to her and I have never been disappointed. She is an excellent stylist and great to talk to while your sitting in her chair! The atmopshere of the entire salon is awesome and I have been to the spa a few times for massages and facials and those are great too! Pros: professional staff, great atmoshpere more

Wonderful 8/18/2005

My boyfriend and I visited Dobel for the first time last week after shopping for a good salon since we moved to atlanta. Needless to say we are through shopping. It was great my boyfriend went to Ric and I went to Shae and we are both extatic with the service they provided!!! They understood exactly what we wanted and were fun to be around!!! I would definitely recommend Dobel; as a guy, I want to get in and out, and here that's no problem. Staff is friendly, service is quick, parking is easy and wait times are minimal. Brenton does a great job on my haircut and I would highly recommend him to anyone next time they visit. Pros: Convenient, In & Out, No pressure more

Fabulous!!!!! 8/16/2005

Having lived in Atlanta for over ten years and possessing what is usually reffered to as ""big"" hair (which is not a good thing for a guy), I met Ric and he was the first stylist to ever talk me through the concept of doing something different to the point of making want to try. It was very different! It was a radical departure from my normal comfort zone and it was fabulous! I am so glad to have finally discovered someone who takes the time for me! Everyone from the front desk to the wonderful washers are always just a pleasure. Thank you Dobel and thank you Ric for finally getting my hair out of the 80's! Pros: Professional, Fun, Location more

Jim is awesome 6/21/2005

I made an appointment with no problem, came in early was seen immediately and shown around. Jim was very professional and definately knows what he is doing. We went through my expectation and his recommendations as a professional. He gave me a great cut and style plus some high/low lights to enhance my features. I left feeling like a new woman and I love my new look. Jim is awesome!!!! Everyone was great, very friendly and helpful! The shampooist seem to know about every ingedient in every product and just what I need to achieve the same results at home and what was best for my hair. I am a concierge here in Atlanta and I only recommend Dobel. Sarah has such a talent and you get what you ask for. Kat is a colour artist, she gives great advise to match your own colour tones. You girls are the best. Pros: all good Cons: What???? more

This Salon is fabulous, top notch, A+++. If you are looking for a salon for life, I highly recommend Dobel with no reserve at all. It is a full service salon and spa, they serve refreshments and snacks, and everyone was so courtious and eager to assist, I was absolutely astonished at the quality of customer service and the level of knowledge and skill of the staff. A lot of other salons and stylists were recommended to me as being the best in Atlanta, I chose Dobel and I could not be happier with my decision. Best experience ever 6/12/2005

New to Atlanta I have not had my hair ""professionaly"" managed in over a year (too scared). As a result my hair was really looking bad. After several days of looking and seeking recommendations I made the move and scheduled a very convenient appt at Dobel. I requested someone knowledgable and talented because a job for them. I showed up early and had no wait. It was very easy to find and parking was no problem. The staff was great and I am so happy with my hair. Thank you all so much. I entered with hair I thought was a complete disaster. Over worked, over stressed, over colored... just OVER. I thought the only solution was cut it all off and go Meg Ryan. After some small talk and hair evaluation, I had some excellent recommendations and a fabulous cut that I never imagined would look so good or be so easy. My hair is now balanced and looks unbelievably healthy. Everyone is asking where I got my hair done. I went in with what I thought was an ideal exchange in value for srvc to fix my hair. Minus the extras like tip $$$ (worth every dime) and the styling products (no pressure large selection), I believe that it was reasonably priced and I would certainly do it again. I had no wait, and felt as though I was the only client for the day. I found my stylist at last! Pros: Free Valet, Amazing customer srvc, Outstanding skill Cons: a little $$, but worth every dime more

Recommending Ken & Timothy 3/20/2005

I recently visited the salon as a new client needing a cut and color. Ken and Timothy are a great team who took the time to consult with me regarding the exact style and color I was looking for. Ken, the colorist, did a fabulous job with my highlights and I would highly recommend him. Timothy, the stylist, provided me great suggestions for the summer and did an excellent job with my cut. more

I am regular & loyal Dobel client. Karen Prince has been my favorite (& only!) stylist since 2001; I followed Karen when she moved to Dobel. I recently moved to Atlanta a received a referral, for Jim, from the nice people in the make-up department at Sak's. I really loved the whole experience and Jim was great! He put three colors in my hair and everyone has told me how beautiful it is. A total 5 star experience. more

Atlanta's Best Salon Period! 2/1/2005

I visited Dobel Salon yesterday and words cannot describe how perfect everything was. Having grown up in Atlanta but after living in Chicago for many years I was afraid this was just another overpriced Buckhead Salon. I made an appointment with Timothy because he was trained in New York. I arrived at the salon, gave my car to the Valet, entered the salon was served a great coffee and very shortly Timothy appeared and gave me the best Haircut I have had.
