Very Poor Service 5/23/2012

This services takes it time to perform work, sending technicians that are able to perform work assigned. They were assigned to fix my fridge on an emergency basis, came to my house, had no correct part, came back the next day with correct part, but the technician did not know how to install it properly. He left saying his boss will be by to fix it, the boss call later and gave me 15 min to return his call. I could not return the call within the time frame (work hours) called later and not able to leave message, his message not set up. Called early next day, he says he will schedule me and will call me back with schedule, no call after 5 hours. Then I called and was told next day. Bottom line, Fridge that was to be repaired in emergency is still not done on fourth day. No apologies. I will not recommend this company to anyone else. more


\r This is the worst and most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They were assigned to fixer my dryer by American Home Shield. I spoke to a female yesterday and she said the window would be between 8-10 or 9-11, which is what I needed. Today, someone called my husband and I and said it would be between 10-12. He was very rude and said that it wasn't possible that someone promised what they did. Both of us thought he was very rude and curt. I called the office to talk to the same person and got Jerry on the phone, who was the same person who my husband and I had talked to earlier. I explained what I had been told and again, he said that didin't happen. He wouldn't let me talk and began yelling at me. I asked him to listen to what I had to say, but he kep yelling. He told me I could find someone else to do my work. I told him I would call AHS and let them know. He agin said I could find someone else to do the work and they could come when I needed them to. It had to be 10-12. I needed my dry fixed so said I would be ther, but he said forget it. They wouldn't come.\r \r I called AHS to tell them what happened and they said that Jerry had called and that he said he would come from 8-10 and I said no. He said I was very rude. This is so untrue. I tollk off work to be at my house. If they had said they would come from 8-10, there wouldn't have been a problem. \r \r DO NO USE THIS COMPANY. NOT ONLY DO THEY YELL AT THEIR CUSTOMERS, THEY LIE ALSO.\r more

Worst Customer Service EVER! 11/8/2011

My dad scheduled a service call through the store where he bought his malfunctioning freezer. Diversified Residential Services was the company that was supposed to come out. After 10 phone calls to the office a few hours after the repairman no-showed, I hunted down an email address online. I emailed the owner explaining that no one showed up, no one answered the phone and I couldn't even leave a voicemail, so I would send the repairman packing if and when he ever did show up. His reply was that he had no idea what I was talking about, never got a service order from the store for me, and he didn't want my business anyway (my email was naturally a bit heated). I called the store and they showed that the service order had been sent and accepted by him. While I was on the phone, they called him on the other line and he denied ever getting the order. Then he sent me another email saying I should have called the store before emailing him to complain. Why should that be necessary?? He should answer his phone! It is supposedly a business, after all. By the way, his emails were about as coherent as a teenager's text messages, unprofessional in the extreme. I sincerely hope you are reading this review before you hire him, so that you can RUN, don't walk away from this company. more

Worst customer service ever 8/30/2011

When I contacted Samsung and requested the name of a company to repair my microwave, they gave me the name of Diversified Residential Services. This company has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. After scheduling a Saturday appt., I waited all day for a service person to show. No one showed up, no one called. Complete waste of a weekend day. When I e-mailed the contact person and explained the problem, I was told that scheduling was not his problem and that I should contact the office.I thought that was what I was doing. He made no offer to help. This experience has made me question future purchases of Samsung products. more

Terrible Company 8/8/2011

I have to admit that the bad reviews are true. This company really needs to work on their customer service and technical performance skills. This company used to go by the name Tech PRO Plus, but Jerry Davis started his own company Diversified Residential Services, LLC. There is no formal customer service training here. There was no proper diagnosis of the refrigerator. Just feeling it with your hand does not count as a professional diagnosis. When parts were supposed to be ordered, no one contacted us. Two week passed and we had to contact them. Then Jerry?s wife tells us that we had to pay more money for something that we had already paid for. So, we contacted Samsung to see if it was covered under warranty. Samsung stated that it was. So we told Diversified that the part was covered and Jerry?s wife (or female associate working for him) changed her mind about what the part was just to say that it wasn?t covered under warranty. I?m sorry, lady, but we both heard you and wrote down what you stated and repeated it back to you; which you confirmed. How are you going to change your mind and then tell us that the repair guy (Robert) was wrong in his diagnosis?! To make a long, frustrating review short, she hung up in our face. We called back but got into an argument over the situation. She decided to cancel our order for repair all together and then hung up in our face again!! Please, do not waste your time and hard earned money with this company. Samsung is aware of all of the complaints issued towards this company and are contemplating dropping them from their line of repair facilities. The Better Business Bureau of Metropolitan Dallas has also been notified of the issues with this company. Stay away from them and go with a more reputable repair service company. Above and Beyond Good Experience 7/27/2011

I have to say that I was confused by the negative comments here. I did not read these comments until after I had had such a pleasant experience with Jerry and his company. I was so impressed with his going above and beyond to help with my circumstances that I felt compelled to write a ""Thanks for such great service"" comment about Jerry and his company which includes extended family members. I was completely happy with the time and effort that Jerry spent on fixing my appliance problem. He was efficient, professional, and knowledgeable as well as polite and kind. I'm glad that I did not read any of these negative comments before dealing with this provider because I might have made the decision to not use their service. I will use their service again when needed and would not hesitate at all to recommend Jerry and his company to others. more


I kid you NOT, do not waste your time with this company. They are the absolute worst I've ever seen. They will always give you a window of service between 1-5PM. The last 2 times we were scheduled, one tech ""Jerry"" showed up at 6:20PM. He left after he destroyed our refrigerator!! He even broke the seal with his screw driver and pulled it back and tried to tell us ""you need a new seal"" Are you freaking kidding me?!?!?! On the next scheduled appt. which was to be Wednesday, June 8, 2011 between 1-5PM - NO ONE EVEN BOTHERED to show up at all! We told him we did not want him back at our property and he ""Jerry"" insisted that he would be the only one coming back! I tell you what, if this con man comes back to my door - I promise you he'll regret it! Oh yeah, the receptionist is his wife and neither of them would know what professionalism is if it slapped them in the face! I'm only giving them a 1-star rating because it is required! Please don't use them unless you just want to be frustrated! more


I called Samsung to report a problem with our refrigerator. They referred me to this company. I called, and the woman said she would call the repairman to check on his schedule and get back with me. When I didn't hear back from her for the next 4 hours, I called her back. She said she would call the repairman again. The repairman called me, and said he would come out to my house in about 2 hours. He showed up and stated that my refrigerator should be put on a GFCI outlet. He also stated that he would order some parts, and get back with me. I never heard from him again. I called the company, and they said they would have him call me. He never has. I called and complained to Samsung. They said they would look into it. Other repairmen have told me that you never put a refrigerator on a GFCI outlet. This company is very suspicious. DO NOT USE THEM !!!! more

Terrible Service, no Idea what they are doing 2/25/2011

As a former appliance repair man, I have some idea what to look for in a company. Samsung sent this company out to do warranty service work, when they were here they said they would order parts and get back to us in a week. They never did. We called them, and after calling in 5 or 6 times we finally reached a person who said he was busy but would call back in a few minutes, but never did. Finally got an appointment set up with them, but they never showed up. Went to Samsung and got another appointment scheduled, to which they came and then claimed Samsung was exchanging the unit (which Samsung said they never do). The tech, named Pete, claimed he was going out to his truck to make a call, and drove away! Do not use this company, steer clear of. Their are lots of other more professional and reliable companies that are actually glad to do work. more

My Experience Was Good 2/18/2011

I guess I was fortunate, Diversified called the day after I reported the problem to Samsung, set up an appointment for the next day, and service tech called and arrived at the appointed time. \r Service was provided and washer working fine. \r I read the other four bad experiences before my service was taken care of and I was a little concerned. The service tech arrived on time and took care of the problem within minutes and was back on his way. more

Bad customer service 12/7/2010

I had an appointment for Diversified to come and look at my Frigidaire oven door. It bagan making a popping noise, like a heavy spring being release, two or three times as I opedned and closed the door. Long story short - they never came, never called, and don't answer their phones after 4:30. I called the next morning - smarmy attitude from customer service. Coudn't find the service order, and left me on hold. As I had already called Lowes and secheduled the repair through their 800 line, I just hung up. She did call me back with a ""sorry this happened, have a nice day"" response. I have no patience with this sort of customer service, or dis-service. Make it a point to always call the manufacture for their authorized repair center, especially if you have an extended warranty. more

Don't use these scammers 11/15/2010

After Samsung gave me their contact info I called DRS, LLC to schedule a repair for my fridge. After the repair man came and diagnosed the problem I let him order the part. Waited 3 weeks and no part. Called them to find out what's going on only to get the run-around. After 1 month I get a call from them saying that the part is on back order. They never called me. I was always the one trying to get info. Finally got the part and had the fridge repaired. After 1 week it broke again with the same problem. I called DRS and they said that they will call back with a repair appointment date. They never called me. I called back and same thing. To this date I am still waiting for them to repair it under their 90 day warranty. I'm not going to wait until it expires so I have decided to file a lawsuit in my jurisdiction. Stay away from this company! more


I had contacted this company from Samsung as they were to be an ""authorized"" Samsung repair company. They sent a person out to come and diagnose the problem (with a fee, as other companies do). They got me the quote for the part that I was told needed to be replaced and I gave the go ahead to order the part. A week/couple weeks later, the part was replaced and our refrigerator was even more broken than it was before; our ice maker was now not working and a dinging noise was made about every minute or two. I called the company to let them know and was rudely told there was nothing they could do until the following week.....I called on a Friday morning and was told they couldn't come out until Wednesday the following week. I asked if the repairman could call us and tell us how to get the dinging to stop at least and was told yes, but nobody ever called. They said the part they ordered from Samsung was faulty and another one had to be ordered. They did try to make us pay for another one, until we got Samsung involved. The part was replaced and our refrigerator was still not working!! I called 4 times and left a message for different people, two of them asking for the owner to call me and NOBODY called me back. I have turned them into bbb and they had 22 days to respond to bbb. I did not even want my money back at first, just for them to come properly fix what they said they were going to fix. I did request for my money back through bbb, but they did not even take the time to respond through bbb. I hope they can turn their practices around. The actual repairman was super nice. He did not seem to know what he was doing, but was very polite and courteous. I hope this never happens to anybody else again. more
