Worst

We just got back from a week long Disney trip, a first for all of us. The trip was designed for my kids, but my hubby and I, and my older kids 10 and 12 were bored. Not one ride...

The #1 Southern California Destination 8/15/2005

If you have one day in So Cal, this is where you should spend that day. The quality of rides and shows far surpasses that of any and all of its peers (save the other Disney theme parks). The theatrical quality of even some of the thrill rides will leavie you mesmerized, and chances are you'll swear off six flags for good. While it tends to be crowded during the summer, the end of December, and on weekends, you are almost guaranteed to walk on any of the rides without lining upif you go during an off season weekday. Though most experiences at Disneyland are top notch, the restaurants are the exception, so if you get hungry, head to one of the independently owned and operated restaurants in nearby Downtown Disney. more

Great amusement park for the whole family, expensive 8/14/2005

This is just a great amusement park, although it is rather pricey at more than fifty dollars a ticket, but well worth the price. The rides are entertaining for the whole family, and the park is open all day and night. The lines usually are not very long but can get extensive during peak hours. Visit this park for a great time. more

It's an absolute classic 8/11/2005

You leave the world at its' gates, and walk in to a perfect place, where things are truely magical. There's not much to say about Disneyland, other than if you haven't been... go. It's really a one of a kind place. The only place in the world where you can be in a jungle, a city of the future, a town at the turn of the century, and the wild western fronteir, all with Disney perfection and attention to detail. The park looks better than it has in years and years, so if you haven't been for a while or never have been before, now is the best time to go probably since the 60s. more

The most boring place on Earth. 8/9/2005

The fun of Disneyland wears off after about the second visit. The lovely attractions are more oriented toward someone who is around seven and is deathly afraid of anything higher than three stories. The fairy tales are quite nice and all but the only ride I prefer is Space Mountain and that jungle boat ride. The price of admission is NOT worth what you get inside. Everything is overpriced to point where I limited souvenirs to one per person. It's fine and fun to visit just once as a tourist but would not be a constant place for fun and amusement. And for it's price, I could go to Knott's AND Six Flags and have enough leftover for a funnel cake. more

Happiest Place On Earth 8/6/2005

Oh man, it's a really fun place to visit! Even thought the ticket is a bit overprice and full of people inside, but still it's a great place to get away from the reality. There is everything you are looking for inside!!! The food and gifts are a bit overprice but where else amusement park isn't!!! more

WHO DOESN'T LIKE IT 8/5/2005

I love Disneyland just as everyone else does. It has rides, shows, and great food. California Adventure is a nice park and nice diversion when you dont want to be around too many people. The prices are a little high, so an annual pass is well worth it. more

Happiest place on earth! 8/4/2005

When they say it's the happiest place on earth they mean it. The rides are great! The shops are incredible. The employees are the nicest people you will ever meet and if ever you have any questions or have a problem with something they will always help you with whatever it is that you need. more

The happiest place on earth 8/4/2005

Disneyland is truly the happiest place on earth, that is, for those of who enjoy non-threatening rides and attractions. Disneyland seems the perfect place to take the whole family or for couples. Disneyland has been the place to go for many years. The attractions are for all ages, young and old. The restaurants are a little pricey but they serve good food. The Blue Bayou, in the New Orleans themed part of the park, is a nice restuarant set by the "river" where the Pirates of the Carribean ride goes through. My personal favorite ride is the Indiana Jones ride, made after one of the movies. It is an exciting ride and most people seem to like it for it is one of the most popular rides. Wear comfy shoes and dress lightly if you go in the summer. more

Disneyland truly is, the happiest place on earth. 7/31/2005

My kids love Disneyland. There is something for everyone here. All of the greatest rides are open again for the 50th birthday celebration. The parades are greater than ever. If you have a little girl, make sure to take her to see the 3 princesses that are in the back of the park during certain hours of the day. The food is great, (though a little overpriced.) Season passes are fairly reasonable, a great route to go if you live in Southern California. more

The greatest amusement park for kids 7/27/2005

Disneyland is so magical. My kids love it there. The park is a little pricey, but well worth it. It's a wonderful place for the whole family. Anyone can enjoy Disneyland. They have rides and attractions for the young and old. Their staff is friendly and the park is always very clean. more

Disneyland 7/26/2005

Disneyland: the happiest place on earth. The ticket price is expensive. However if you visit the theme park a lot you can buy the whole year pass and it will save you a lot of money. Disneyland theme park has a lot of fun ride. However this is more of family things. more

What hasn't been said 7/25/2005

Since people are all familiar with it I'll just offer these nuggets: All the rides are packed so expect to spend a good chunk of the day standing in line. That said Space Mountain is worth the wait and the Matterhorn is a nice one with shorter wait times and a fun ride. Don't sleep on the teacups either, they're still an oddly fun ride. The Best Rides: 1. Space Mountain 2. Splash Mountain 3. Matterhorn 4. Thunder Mtn Railroad 5. Indiana Jones more

Woohoo! 7/10/2005

Disneyland is my favorite place in the whole entire world! It is so much fun! There are so many rides and other attractions there. I love it! I especially love the fireworks, the parades, and the little show they put on at night. Disneyland, unsurprisingly, is really, really crowded, no matter what time of year you go. There are tourists there from all over the country and even the world. I really like this amusement park, and I think everybody should have a chance to go there at least once in their lifetime. It is truly the happiest place on earth. more

Favorite theme park 7/2/2005

Funnest theme park in the history of theme parks. more

Okay Park 6/27/2005

Disneyland is a great place to go if you’re a kid. Personally, I don’t like to go to Disneyland because it is a waste of money and everything there is boring but the price is extremely expensive. The only reason that I am ever near Disneyland is for Disneyland Downtown. It is a great place to be and it free too. more

It an Ok Park 6/25/2005

Disneyland might sound fun to other but personally, I find it very boring. I have been to Disneyland two time; one at 8 years old and one at 16 years old. I find it very boring. The first time it was fun, but the second time, it seem boring and nothing good. Everything was super expensive. For a hat, it cost almost $20. For a meal, it would cost around or over $20 per person. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. more

Great Theme Park 6/20/2005

Disneyland is little brother and sister Favorite Park. Every summer my family drives down there and spend a whole day at Disneyland. I think the park is fine for little kid, but i have gotten bore of it. However, I love their firework show and the train that transport you from one place to another. more

Boring PArk 6/19/2005

I find Disneyland to the most boring park around. I guess I have lived in OC all my life and Disney is just 15 minutes drive away. Their rides aren’t that interesting or eye popping to me. I wouldn’t pay $45 to spend a day at Disneyland. I would rather go to Knott for less. more

Okay Park 6/19/2005

Disneyland is an okay park. I find it to be boring; I used to like Disneyland when I was little but now I find it to be a normal park. The price is always high. However, if you are an AAA, you can get discount ticket to Disneyland. I would recommend Disneyland for people to take their kid. Disneyland isn’t’ for adult. more

Disneyland 6/16/2005

We recently went to Disneyland. The employees are so helpful with any questions you may have. The characters vary throughout the park, and there are many to choose from. The price isn't too bad if you get a good deal. They have quite a few rides even the little kids can go on. more
