Definitely a must-ride for Star Wars fans 7/28/2008

Fly through a galaxy far far away on this topsey-turvey simulator ride that?s not for sensitive stomachs. About 10+ people can fit in each simulator ride room at a time. Waiting in line is particularly entertaining for Star Wars fans here as the pre-boarding rooms are decked out to look like the Star Wars set itself. more

Step into the past! 7/14/2006

As you walk down the street looking at the so-called "Golden Age" of Hollywood it's like stepping into a time warp. Theater marquees show of the names of movies...that aren't quite the way you remembered them. Classy art deco style shops woo you with their clothing wares and sumptuous fares. And in the distance looms a nightmare come to life: The Tower of Terror! Just to the left of the Tower is a reality-check known as the Rock'nRollercoaster...0 to 60 in the blink of an eye. To the Tower's right is where you end the night as Mickey himself invites you to Fantasmic, a light, water, and fireworks extravaganza featuring many of Mickey's friends and foes from past feature films. All in all, a stroll down Sunset Boulevard is a great day and a goodnight! Pros: You can't lose with a street housing Tower of Terror, Rock'nRollercoaster, and Fantasmic. Cons: None really. Maybe another restaurant. more

The line is half the fun 4/27/2006

As you go to the ride, you're treated to a simulation of a spaceport to different lands in Star wars, including many animatronics. The line moved almost TOO fast for me to take in all the scenery. The ride itself is a lot of fun, I suggest the front row. Pros: interesting line, tamer fun Cons: Not thrilling for all more

Really Rockin' 1/9/2003

This is a truly awesome ride! It takes you from 0-60 in something like 3 seconds! Out of all the rides at Disney, this has to be the best for all you Thrill seekers out there! If you've never been on this ride, you HAVE to ride it! There is nothing like it ANYWHERE!!! Pros: Exhilerating, Lines move quickly, Good concept more

THIS RIDE ROCKS !!!! 12/11/2002

This is probably one of the best coasters in Orlando, and the bonus is Aerosmith blasting through the speakers !!!! more

Not for the Motion impaired person 6/4/2002

You feel like really flying in a space ship. A word of warning, if you get motion sick, this ride will do you in. I can handle most other rollercoaster type rides , but this one almost got me, It ended just in the nick of time. Pros: Good, not crowded, Short Cons: Hot more

Great Ride 6/4/2002

Rock n' Roller Coaster is the most fun I have had on a roller coaster. In typical Disney fashion the theme is half the attraction, I still loved seeing Aerosmith at the beginning theseventh time as much as the first. And to have the music blaring as you speed and spin, you just scream Walk this Way! And there is different music every time you ride! A great idea and addition to a great vacation. more

THE ABSOLUTELY BEST ROLLERCOASTER 6/4/2002

Everyhting about it was fantastic - the theme of the ride, the "car", the music cranking, 0-70 mph in 4 seconds (best way to start a ride...) the speed, absolutely EVERYTHING! more

SWEEEEET EMOTION 6/4/2002

I HAVE RIDEN THIS RIDE OVER 1000 TIMES AND IT STILL GIVES ME A THRILL. MY FACE GETS SORE FROM SMILING SO MUCH. AND THE STAFF IS GREAT (NO RELATIONS). more

Editorial

  • The Highlights
After stumbling through several exhibits of rock-and-roll memorabilia, you enter a fictitious recording studio and witness Aerosmith putting the finishing touches on their latest album. You're offered backstage passes and a limo ride to the show and then you're off. The coaster's catapult sends you flying from zero to 57 mph in about 2.8 seconds, traversing 3,403 feet of track. Three inversions, including an 80-foot cobra roll and a corkscrew, will have you screaming like Steven Tyler. Flying down the L.A. freeway, barrelling through Dead Man's Curve and the Hollywood sign above Tinseltown at nearly 60mph is almost as good as love in an elevator. Just when you get a chance to compose yourself, the coaster throws you into the first of its three loops.

    The Wait
Grab a Fastpass or you'll wait in line for almost an hour.
