The only reason I give them one star, is because they don't have any take aways!! I took two of my vcr/dvd players to them while they where still in their shop. After about 2 months of Hounding them, they finally brought them back, charged me $186.00 for the repairs, but never fixed them. They even did some pretty bad damage to one of them. I called them numerous times and they came to get the one they damaged, I made them fix that part at my home, then they left. They never came back to ""Actually"" fix the original problems. I have been trying to get a refund for about 6 months, and they tell me they don't have the ""funds"" to return. I don't understand that part, since all they do is take money but don't do any repairs. I have reported them to the Better Bussiness Bureu, but was informed that their membership was cancelled, so they won't get involved. I tried to make a complaint with the Police, but was informed it is a civil matter. I contacted the court, and was informed that their are numerous judgements already against them, so I was probably wasting my time. I know that they are now working out of their Home in WVC, without a business Lic. and they have been reported. Cons: Steal Money and your equipment more

I scheduled an appt and they came right out! They fixed my 65"" HDTV fast, and right the first time. This was about 60 days ago, its been working perfect ever since. Pros: Fixed right the first time Cons: Communication not great more

CAME OUT TO DIAGNOSE TV PROBLEM. NEEDED TO SPECIAL ORDER PARTS, SO I GAVE THEM 200$ TO ORDER.THEY SAID 5-7 DAYS TO GET THE PARTS IN. AFTER 3 WEEKS AND SEVERAL UNNSWERED CALLS THEY CAME OUT, BUT WITH WRONG PARTS. THEY SAID THEY WOULD OVERNIGHT THE PARTS. 3 DAYS LATER WRONG PARTS AGAIN, NOW I HAD MORE PROBLEMS WITH MY TV. THEY REORDERED THE PARTS WHICH WERE STILL WRONG. I REQUESTED A REFUND, WHICH THEY GAVE ME IN A CHECK THAT BOUNCED. (STILL NOT RESOLVED.) Pros: NOTHING Cons: EVERYTHING more

I have had my tv at this shop for 4 months. I have been lied to multipule times. I was told more than once that my tv was fixed only to be told the next time we spoke that it was not fixed. I am tired of waiting for these people so I want my money and tv back so I can get it fixed. I need some fire power in order to get my tv back and maybe we can help eachother get our property and money back if we put our stories together. I would have to agree with everyone that has written a reveiw about this horrible service. I will keep this short because I have alot to say. This service is completely just awful. I have had 6 service calls in the last 4 months. I have tried and tried to get this guy to come out and fix my 65' wide screen hd tv and still has not done the job right. Unfortunatly This man already has received a payment of $ 250.00 dollars from me when The tv partly got fixed but the day after he left the tv went bad again. I called this guy to come back and re-do the job that he said that would never happen again. Well it did. I asked the repair man if my tv goes bad again would you guarantee your service? He said yes he would. But never has yet. These two guys that run the buisness, They love to schedule you for a certain time and on the day of they never come out. If you ever walk into there store they are completely disorganized they have tv's strewn all over the place and they have a service man that does not know what in the world he is doing. They both smell bad, Their hygiene is horrible they are unreliable, dishonest, disorganized, and completely overpriced . What ever you do... do not leave your tv there cause you will never get it back don't ever pay him til you know that he has done the job right cause if your tv goes bad like mine again and you call him to come back out he won't come out or return your money. I hope that everyone who reads my reveiw and everyone else's I hope that they are smart and they stay away from these two crooks!!! I am currently going to be taking this guy to court and I am going to get every little penny I can for the time that I have lost waiting for these two stupid pigs that never knew what they were doing!! If you do go over there be sure to bring a police officer with you because I swear when you talk to this guy and he tells you what he want's to do with your tv or money I swear your gonna wanna beat the living tar out of him. I called Discount TV in hopes that I would be able to get my TV fixed quickly because I use it every single day. I called everyday for 4 days trying to get someone to at least come look at the tv. Everyday they told me someone would be out, and they never showed. Then I called again only to find out the reason they hadn't come is because they thought I would just buy a new tv. When they finally did come out, the gentlmen that came out left without saying anything. I had no clue if he would be back or not, or what was going on. I ended up calling them AGAIN, only to find out they had to order a part. It would take about another week. I was sick of waiting for them, so I canceled the order. It has been 3 weeks since I canceled the order, and still have not seen a refund on my account. I called today to see why I had not recieved my refund. He said he had to do some ""research"" and then called back and said he couldn't find the charge, so he would refund me part of my money. Don't go with these guys, it seems like a shady business that never seems to have answers. Cons: Unreliable, slow to action, waste of time. more

Poor service, dishonest, completely disorganized, and inept. My 15"" Slyvania LCD went out and upon calling ""Hildon"" at Discount TV he acted as if it would be an easy fix and they knew exactly what the problem was. I thought I'd give this apparently disheveled business a chance. That was a mistake. Problems: kept TV for over two months without any communication with me, proceeded with an UNauthorized work order (and the delay was supposedly waiting for unnamed parts from Funai), and I called them 3 times with inquiries for details and with promises they'd call me back. They never did. I had to go in twice to find them there (often gone during business hours) and attempt to retrieve my TV. I forfeited the $25 ""diagnostic"" fee but I wanted to be done with this outfit. Moreover, among the wreck and dozens of thrown down TVs (carelessly handled), they had no record of my TV repair. Overall a real shady shop that is poorly managed, run, organized, and cared for. STAY AWAY and tell your friends to do the same! Cons: Dishonest, over priced, unreliable, messy, disorganized more

Called businesses from the yellow pages to find someone to repair a 3 yr old flat screen tv. Discount TV said it would cost $25 to look at the tv but the employee thought he knew what the problem was from our description over the phone. When we dropped it off we were told it would be $35 to look at it. This should have been our clue to turn around and run. The place is a complete wreck; tv's thrown all over the floor. and extremely dirty. After seven weeks, four phone calls, and two trips to the store, we still don't have our tv. They say they will call you back and never do. One week we were told that the parts were on order. We never authorized this. We told them to call us after they looked at it to tell us what was wrong and how much it would be to fix it before we would authorize it. They've never called us. When we call to ask about it we are cut off in mid-sentence every time saying that ""the guy"" will call us back. We went today to pick the tv up and bring it home even if it is in pieces and weren't allowed to take it. We don't think we'll get it back. This place is a dump, and these are not honest people. I went to Discount TV becuse it was close to my home, he came to my home to fix my tv and said he would have to order parts I paid him the amount he asked for $357.00 and assumed he would be back, but he kept puting me off. he finally said Im not fixing it, and that he was keeping my money. so nine months later and a court order to pay, he still refuses to pay. I've been in his shop several times to collect and he slams the door on me, and the cops will not help. now it's in the court system again and we will see if anything comes of it. but by all meens DO NOT look up these guys. there nothing but crooks go to Service West you will not regret it now they are HONEST people.
