Been using Discount tire for about 5 years now. Swithced after numerous bad and unsafe experiences at the now defunct Tires Plus. I cannot say enough about the excellent service, low prices, free flat fixes etc. I have 6 cars, DT has probably fixed 8 flats for me the past 4 years. No problems either when I had 3 tires suffer road hazard damage and had to be replaced. more

Don't Bother 11/2/2011

I took my flat here to be patched. They said they couldn't find anything wrong with my tire, they filled it up and replaced it back on my car, on the wrong wheel and left my spare on. Lame. When my tire went flat a week later, I took it to Tires Plus and they actually fixed my tire. more

RIP OFF 8/3/2011

This store is ripping everyone off that does not know the con. For example, I came to the store asking them to check the front right tire for either a patch or a replacement. I filled the tire with air before going, so the tire did not look flat. They rolled out a tire with rips and said the only thing that could be done was to replace it. I paid the cost of replacement, only to discover the next morning the right front tire had as much air leaked out as the day before. With further inspection, I realized the tire was never removed, and the tire they rolled out was theirs. Pretty slick huh? Making money off of poor folks like me, is the standard at Dishonest Tire:( more

Great service; daughter who goes to college in St Paul had a flat tire, She arrived at 4:40 on a Saturday afternoon (they close at 5 pm) and they had her tire changed and whe was on the road by 5:15. Nice to have a place you can trust. more

good experience 10/30/2010

as far as customer service goes so far, has been better than other places I have been. I have had many sets of tires mounted by these guys. The only drawback from these guys is that they do not offer alignments. I cant figure this out. They are a tire store that will only mount, but not align. Doesn't this go against everything that they teach about tire maintenance to get the most out of your tires? I go to these guys because of their prices, not cheap, but cheaper than other local competetors that I am aware of. more

This is the only place to buy tires! 12/22/2009

Discount Tire's customer philosophy is to win customers through consistent great service. I have never seen or heard of them trying a "hard sell", and they will go out of their way to educate you on the best option for your need. When this store accidentally installed mismatched tires, the manager Richie dealt with the issue instantly and made sure I was not inconvenienced in any way. I was simply stunned to experience service like this, it is so rare. I have purchased several sets of tires from them and recommend them to my friends and family. more

They know tires 8/14/2008

My new 2007 Camry was 2 months old and I hit something and got a sidewall blowout. I took it to a number of dealers and all said I needed a new tire. The manager at Discount Tires had me bring the car over to look at. He confirmed that the steel belt in Michelin tires goes up the side wall, so he had one of his mechanics take the tire off and look at it. Indeed, there was steel belt all around the blowout, so they were able to repair the tire. The kindest thing was, he didn't even charge me. Guess where I'm going to get tires for my daughter's car? more
