Diplomat Health Club

I have been to the Diplomat Club many times and usually come away quite satisfied.\r The videos are good and the dry sauna always feels good on a cool day.\r I usually go midmorning or early afternoon and sometimes there are quite a few other guys there, and sometimes it is almost empty. A nice relaxing place either way.\r As with anyplace of this type, just play safe and have fun. more

I am going to the Diplomat on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. I am visiting from Winnipeg. For years we had a limited choice of relaxation in our city. You as a community must get behind and SUPPORT those who are trying to provide choices for our community. Bitching will lead to nothingl Support leads to improvement, building and a promising future. I look forward to writing a post review and I suspect it will be much better and more constructive then the person with the 'tetanus view'. For him I have a question, as one who has been an educator for 30 years, I heard all the problems, but not once did I pick up that he knew how to be part of the positive solutions. Does he know how to be positive and I am talking attitude not testing? more

This place is getting better since the new management took over it has always been clean when I go and new guys are evidently checking the place out. Nice to see a new sauna and paint, furniture, better video, etc. Its worth checking out if you want to meet some nice guys. more

Hey guys, I'd like to touch on some of the improvements to the club in the past few months. The atmosphere has improved tenfold. First off, There is no mold or mildew anywhere in the building; no smells or unsightly stains. The club gets a thorough cleaning every 1-2 days. New management got new linens and towels, and are updating all furniture. New paint, new HOT sauna, Big TV's and an all new video library from Falcon, Bel Ami, Sean Cody, Corbin Fischer, etc. are very much appreciated. The new staff is dedicated to keeping this place a safe, clean, and fun environment for guys to relax and socialize here in GR! Check the place out; you can expect The Dip to only get better from here! more

The Diplomat is an older facility, and most of its clients tend to be older as well. Having said that, the staff is friendly, facilities clean, and the amenities are very much appreciated. While the sauna was under repairs when I first visited, I was assured it would up and running soon as the staff finished remodeling it. Definitely looking forward to trying it out! When I visited, there were a number of younger guys, which is apparently a recent development. Having said that, it was also apparently the case that younger guys have been starting to discover this place, and are particularly active on weekends. That being the case, I encourage you to check this place out. All in all, a good place to meet up and have some fun. more

They show movies from the 80s & 90s very out of focus & out dated! On everything else there too. They need new & more T.V.s in the place! Bigger T.V.s would be a major plus so the guys can actually see what there watching from the seats. They also need to do something with the moldy misty smell in the intire place.\r If they update everything & advertise a little bit the younger crowd would come! more

Even thought the place needs some updating, manager Stacy is working very hard to improve the club. He is recruiting younger members. Everytime I have gone to the Diplomat, I have had a good time. Pros: Super friendly staff. Cons: Needssome updating more

This place was the scariest ""health"" club I have been in. I felt i needed a tetnus shot after entering. The rooms werent clean, fixtures, furniture, and clientele were extremely old. The mexican guy that works there was cute, but the blond boy at night was a total a**. He was obviously strung out on xtc, but was so rude to me. I am calling the health dept on this place, it needs to be burned to the ground. Pros: hmmm, nothing!!! Cons: old, outdated, dirty. more
