Not my cup of tea 4/3/2006

I initially tried Dim Sum Go Go because it was very different from other dim sum restaurants in Chinatown. However, I find that I didn't like the experience as much as I thought I would. The dim sum experience of my younger years just isn't the same when you can easily get it at 4pm, there are no pushcarts, and no one marks your check with a red stamp. Also, the dim sum is ridiculously overpriced, and the portions are not any bigger than other restaurants. more

Dim Sum without hassle 3/21/2006

A friend first took me to Dim Sum Go Go and I have been back a number of times since. There are no push carts going down the aisle but rather you would order off a dim sum menu. This makes for a more "civilized" way of doing dim sum as you don't have people yelling out their fare right next to you. Food is good and the atmosphere is quieter than most dim sum restaurants. more

Best Dim Sum 3/20/2006

After my visit to Dim Sum Go Go, I realized that no other dim sum restaurants can compare. Dim Sum Go Go serves by far the best dim sum in New York City. The only possible downside is that there are no pushcarts. You order from a form and the food comes all at once. more

great dim sum 8/13/2005

go go is the place to go if you are looking for dim sum. i has many benefits over any other place in china town and in the city in general. well first, they use a menu form, where you can mark what dish you want. you don't need to speak chines in case the waiter don't speak English. second, there is dim sum any time and not just in noon like other places. third, they have great verity, sea food dim sum, meat dim sum, vegetarian dim sum, and even dim sum for desert. and finally, it is amazingly cheap, less then $20 per person. well go, and bon apatite. more

Fusion: A Little Western Cool in Chinatown 2/23/2005

Dim Sum Go Go offers above average dim sum (at all times), plus more good Chinese food. But what really sets it apart is the look and feel of the place which, very unusually for a New York Chinese restaurant, is a hip aesthetic which you would expect to find in the Village rather than Chinatown. But you will pay for the difference. It's a little pricier than most restaurants in Chinatown. more
