I am not much on BBQ but this place is awesome! Love the Beef BBQ sandwhiches and the hamburger's are fantastic. Not healty but good!

This might be the only non-franchise BBQ restaurant in this part of Gwinnett County. I know it's been around a long time. The building looks so authentically BBQish, totally unpretentious. I've gotten takeout there several times, each time hoping this time I'd get served something equal to my expectations. So sorry to say that their BBQ tastes like it's boiled, artificially flavored, mushed--anything except traditionally smoked, hand-pulled. This is not the real deal. Very sub-par quality. If you know genuine BBQ, you will be disappointed. more

Best BBQ 6/10/2011

I am not much on BBQ but this place is awesome! Love the Beef BBQ sandwhiches and the hamburger's are fantastic. Not healty but good! more

LOVE this place! 3/17/2009

We've moved from Suwanee, and we surely miss driving through Dillard's for a wonderful whole-rack of ribs, slaw, and beans for a fabulous dinner or some great biscuits and coffee in the morning! When we come back to visit we ALWAYS stop in and get some great food at Dillards Barbecue! Pros: Great food! Friendly staff! Cons: What are the drawbacks? more

Giving it an average... 3/8/2008

On first site, I was encouraged by this restaurant. Smell was good. Inside looked like a good BBQ restaurant should and one of the 'locals' was going on about how good the food was. I ordered up a couple of sandwiches and headed home to try it. I can't really tell you about the flavor of the meat because the thing tasted like smoke. Don't get me wrong, I like, rather require, a smoky flavor to my BBQ but this was too much even for me. The sauce was good enough and the fries were what you'd expect, but either I just caught them on a bad day or they over smoke their food.\r more

Great Barbeque in Suwanee 9/3/2006

Dillard's has great barbeque, the staff are all friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I recommend trying it if you live in the Suwanee area. I believe it is locally owned and they have consistently good food. more
