Really trashy place - staff and location look like they need a good scrub. Unprofessional, lack courtesy, real bottom of the barrel stuff. I've never come across such poorly trained and, yes trashy, staff at a medical office. This place is scary.\r

Based on a couple of good reviews, I thought I'd give this place a try. Well, the positive reviews must have been written by staff, because this place is a dive. I was horrified the minute I walked in. No one could be bothered to greet me. I had to wander around a corner before I found a sign in sheet - not sure if I even needed to sign in, because as I wandered back to the waiting room, someone in the office finally acknowledged me. \r
I barely heard her, because the staff had their little radio so loud that I couldn't even make out half of what she was saying. She proceeded to tell me about the program while chomping on her gum and adding in a suggestion or two about how my regular doctor should manage my medical care while I was on the program. Was this person a nurse? No clue. I actually assumed at first that she was the office admin, but here she was telling me all about how my doctor should do her job. Maybe this woman was a salesperson? Again, no idea. No one ever bothered to introduce themselves. As I was getting the sales pitch, a nurse (student nurse?) who looked like she just dragged herself out of the nearest bar and was still wearing yesterday's clothes hovered in the background. My point? I only do business with professionals. If these folks can't even be bothered to present themselves and their organization in a professional manner - heck, even in a manner that implies common courtesy - then I have no interest in paying them my hard-earned money. I would recommend finding a place that hires employees that display some semblance of courtesy and professionalism. Me? I should have discussed weight loss with my regular doctor and I've made an appointment with her to do just that. If Diet Med Clinic is representative of all weight loss clinics, they're obviously not for me.\r
