I purchased an item 3 days ago for $40. and tried to return it today. I was prepared to get a store credit because I did not have a receipt. They said they would have to check to see if the item had been on sale during the last 90 days and they could only give me a credit for the sale amount; which in this case was $20. Since I purchased the item using a credit/debit card, the store should have a record of the purchase. When I asked if thee could pull up the record, they denied they could. Funny, they could track the price of an itemv back 90 days, but could not pull up a record of a purchase made 3 days ago. I will not do business with any firm that does not have the decency to be honest with their customers. more

Dicks Sporting Goods is undoubtedly the very, very best place in Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill to purchase sporting goods and products. Their selections of ice skates, basket balls, base balls, and other items is astounding. Help is also always accessible. A must on your sports list - you will not be sorry. more

Our family goes to "Dick's Sporting Goods" in Raleigh North Carolina, when we are looking for sports equipment. They have a good selection of merchandise from several different sports, as well as gift items for that sports-fan in your life. We have always found that their staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and the prices are competitive. When we are looking for a particular item in a particular sport, the staff have always come to the rescue, and if this store does not carry it, the staff has helped us locate it somewhere else. I would definitely recommend this store to the sports-lover. more
